Hearing the news, a pleasant smile appeared on Nox's face.
He grinned, looked at Nyx, and said excitedly, "Perfect timing."
"Well, that's your clue to leave." She shrugged and took a step back as if knowing what he wanted to do.
Nox proceeded to activate [Demonic Wing], and a pair of massive black wings sprawled out from his back.
With his dark eyes and royal attire, he almost looked like a demon prince. Perhaps the only thing missing were the horns.
BOOM! With a powerful flap of his wings, Nox's body shot into the air. The balcony beneath him cracked and formed several fissures.
His speed generated an intense wind current as his body broke through the sound barrier and vanished into the sky.
The guard flinched back, but Nyx remained calm, simply staring at the sky where Nox had disappeared.
"Mistress, what are we going to do about the balcony?" the guard asked.
"Have some of the builders get it fixed," Nyx replied.
