Chapter 149 - Crime Syndicate 4

It could be shattered just as it could be destroyed in other ways, like being put into a furnace.

If the overall structure remained and was still not damaged enough through all of that, then perhaps it could be something that she could inhabit.

The problem was that it would be like inhabiting a skeleton or something similar, but with her only having a head or main body that she would be possessing.

If there were no arms or legs, then she could not move around or perform other actions.

If there were no eyes and ears, then her ability to sense things would be cut off.

It would no longer serve her purposes, and rebuilding it would likely not be such a good idea, as it would be cheaper and easier to just build a new one starting from scratch.

It was not like it was something difficult for her to achieve.

Getting a new one was still something that she could afford to get done.

It would take time to have a new one built to replace it or to make further improvements to make it even better, but there were still others that she already had to spare.

All that mattered in the present was how everything she learned could be made use of.

There was nothing concrete that could be used yet, but it could provide multiple ways of proceeding in her activities in the future.

One important point that she learned was that the drugs were not of the common variety of drugs.

The way of manufacturing them was not like most drug labs.

There had even been some talk about the source of it that the boss and the higher-ups had tried to keep hidden from the henchmen or lower thugs of the gang.

IT was one of the reasons for their violent expansion recently, especially when it came to corrupting many people and finding ways to seize their properties.

From the information Tiffany had gained, it was not the kind of talk that would be about a chemist.

It was more like they had talked about a source of the drugs itself, like there had been a way of producing it that did not require a lab, chemist or anything else.

It was no wonder that such operations had been so difficult to know about, as they did not seem to show major signs of being involved with the manufacturing of drugs.

In cases of drug manufacturing, they had to be careful about how they made it from the materials used, the equipment used and the environment.

Anything could result in their operations being exposed, just as any of those things could cause a major accident.

If they operated from somewhere more accessible or predictable, then it would be more likely that the police and heroes would be able to crack down on such places.

Only greater criminal syndicates would be able to have the kind of resources needed to build something far more secure and hidden that could not be discovered so easily.

That kind of operation would require no errors going wrong toward building that kind of secure location to the point of there being no trace of such a place existing.

Not even a single blueprint could be known about for the police or heroes to have access to when looking into them as part of an investigation.

The moment that a location on a blueprint was suspected and there was enough cause to search it for illegal activities, they would likely be caught off guard without a means of hiding their activities or destroying any of it.

Such a place could be covered up to be storage or to be used for something else entirely, but if anything led back to that location, that could be illegal, then it could end up being exposed enough to have a warrant granted to search and seize anything that could be considered as evidence of any crime.

An example would be how a factory or a section of it could be used for the manufacturing of illegal drugs.

If a part of the factory was not a part of the floor plan or blueprints, then it could be hidden during raids unless it was discovered.

Such a place could likely be hidden underground beneath the normal operations of the factory, or it could be hidden within a hidden room that was behind a wall that could only be entered through the use of a certain mechanism or hatch.

Some could have the main entrance to such a place hidden behind something like a bookcase or something else.

A hatch leading down underground could be hidden beneath something very heavy that would need to be moved aside to access it.

To achieve such a feat, illegal work would have to be done by hiring people who would be discreet about the work they were doing.

Other ways of dealing with those things to reduce discovery would be to have such people blindfolded and brought into that place where they would do their job while being restricted from the outside world during the duration of their time performing their job.

If anyone tried to escape or caused problems for the operation, then certain actions would have to be taken by those who would be watching over it all.
