One of the perks of being an anthropomorphic type of Quirk possessor was that certain natural abilities would not be too restricted, while others needed to be used far more carefully.
One of those that was slightly restricted was her usage of her ability to create and manipulate her webbing.
What was not restricted was her ability to stick to certain surfaces and climb up walls.
One perks of the usage of Quirks was that if nobody saw it, it could be overlooked, so using them indoors or out of the sight of others could be allowed.
That type of ability allowed her to reach places that others could not ever reach with ease, so it would be quite useful in a large number of different things.
Among those things was being able to get into awkward positions that others could not get to, so that photos could be taken from there.
The type of job that Tiffany was asking her to do seemed to be quite suitable for her, but she still needed to think things over.
Gwen looked toward the body of Diablo while hesitating. "I do not know... are you sure you want me to work for you?"
She was still feeling the effects of her past, as trusting others was not so easy for her.
It was the same for other feelings she had gained from her environment she grew up in, which made her feel like she was undeserving of being granted certain opportunities.
The body of Diablo sat there without moving before relying on a positive tone of voice. "I need you for this, and you will be paid well enough to let you start any kind of life you want. Please believe in me."
Gwen continued to hesitate a while before asking. "Can I try it out first?"
Diablo nodded in response. "Yes, but I ask that you maintain a certain level of professionalism and confidentiality toward what you are asked to be involved in. Keep this with you and await your first job, and we shall proceed from there."
A mobile phone was passed to Gwen a moment later, before Diablo stood up and headed toward the door. "I expect great things from you."
The door closed behind her as she began to leave the area and headed toward the next destination, where she would go on to recruit several others.
Some would be recruited for her business as a broker, while others would be approached to begin sending to appropriate places that needed them or that suited them best.
Similar meetings would happen within the area and other locations within the reach of the city that did not require more than a day of transportation to reach.
Local talents would be recruited, whether they were just ordinary people with certain special skillsets or they had a Quirk.
It did not matter too much whether they had a Quirk or not, so long as they were useful and motivated.
There were others like Gwen who were chosen for the sole purpose of allowing them to make a life for themselves with the money they could earn doing certain jobs that would be given to them.
The first jobs would start very simply and would not demand much from them, while there would be a time when they would be tested to see how far they would be willing to go and how much they would be willing to do.
Tiffany had thought about it for some time while consulting Butch on some things.
She needed to run her business in a certain manner that would let her operate a lot more smoothly in the future and allow those working with her more often and who were more useful to earn their place.
That was when they both came up with the idea of setting up rankings for those who were taking on tasks from her or were being given tasks to perform for others.
As a broker and a leader of the organisation she would be running, she needed to make use of everyone efficiently and direct them toward tasks that were suited to their skills and their capabilities.
If someone were given a task that was far too difficult for them, then it was likely that they would fail or get hurt rather than complete it.
Everyone would have to prove themselves worthy of trust and capabilities before they would be assigned something more difficult or something that would require them to be able to keep their activities to themselves.
There was always potential for betrayals and leaks of many kinds, so setting up the ranking system was a way to test things out a little for each of the new entries.
If some were more comfortable earning money doing slightly smaller tasks that were not so much in the grey areas, then they could remain as they were without needing to rise any higher.
