The ceremony proceeded smoothly until it was time for Hera and Dominic's wedding vows.
"To my dearest Hera." Dominic smiled playfully and wittingly glanced at their guest, making them chuckle because he was starting it as if he simply wrote a letter.
"Yes, it is a letter." Dominic flipped the paper in his hand to show the crowd a glimpse of it. When he set his eyes back to Hera, his smile relaxed. "My beautiful Hera, I have a confession to make."
Hera raised her brows curiously.
"When we parted, I… I killed time writing my wedding vow," he confessed, and the crowd immediately burst out in laughter.
There were a few who were confused, but those who knew found it comical. From the time Hera returned to her body, every day was a battle and full of uncertainty. They didn't even know if they could make it the next day. Yet Dominic was writing love letters. What made it even funnier was that during that time, Hera was killing time thinking of her bedroom fantasies.
