On the streets of Greenwood Springs
A loud alarm was going off from the radio station as an announcement was played in repeat. The townspeople were running for their lives, as they headed towards City Hall. When, the ground suddenly started to shake, knocking them off balance. At that moment, the townspeople thought it was the end of the world as screams erupted on the streets due to this being the first time such a thing had ever happened in the town itself.
The people who fell during the quake, were abandoned as the ones who could still run, continued on to City Hall. Cracks appeared on the ground as the people who fell were overcome by fear and unable to move. They closed their eyes for a single moment, but when they opened their eyes, they were surrounded by the large crowd of people in City Hall and Norman was standing on a table with a megaphone in hand.
"Alright people, listen up" Norman shouted and the room got quieter "I know it seems like the end right now, but we all need to remain calm and face this crisis together" the ground shook again and along with it, so did the building which made everyone scream
Norman stared at the doors and could see that there was nobody else running towards the building. So, he got off the table and approached the doors before slamming them shut and locking them.
"Detective, I don't think locking the doors is going to keep those demons out" Jake said as he approached Norman while the rest of the Rodrik family pushed through the crowd. Hearing Jake's words, ruffled the feathers of everyone else in the building
"I know. They can teleport" Norman said which caused everyone to question if they were even safe. "However, I for one have had a hellish day since waking up and I'm gonna tell you something kid..." He said while walking towards Jake "The person those things are coming here to fight, seems like a far more scarier person than their whole army" he said
When it seemed like the two were about to fight, the ground shook as it began to open up, while the building was merely affected by the quakes. A woman let out a small shriek at the sound of someone knocking on the window panes and everyone within that area seemed to have moved away while Norman and Jake's attention was drawn to there.
"Dear heavens"
"Did you see that?"
"She just appeared out of nowhere"
"Princess?" Eric said in surprise as he pushed through the crowd. Sloane had one hand on the window
"Hello" Sloane said, but her voice had been resounded in everyone within City Hall's ears. "I've checked around the town to make sure there was nobody else. I have to thank you all for listening to me for once" she said as she took her hand off the glass and the whole of City Hall was being enclosed in an ice dome as she turned her back to them
The ground shook and like an earthquake, many of the buildings began to collapse, however, City Hall was still in tact. Many of the abominations began to crawl out of the ground.
"Now, you guys do me a favor and stay in there without making a sound" Sloane said, as the dome completely covered City Hall. Looking up, several of the abominations had finished crawling out of the woodwork without freezing. "Just as you thought, Tim. These guys are successful experiments of Michelle blood" she said through telepathy
"It was somewhat expected" Timothy replied "I'm sure you guessed it too since they were so confident in attacking despite Snowfall still being active"
"So, what do we do now?" Priya asked "I can tell they've started crawling out from underground"
"Is everyone in position?" Sloane asked as she walked away from City Hall
"Yeah. We're ready when you are" they all replied
"We're awaiting orders, mum" Mackenzie said
"Then... Let's proceed with the plan" Sloane said as she pointed her hand in a certain direction and a tower of blue flames erupted from the ground, covering a surface area of one hundred metres. The tower of flames burnt down the abominations in that direction.
Sloane continued to move away from City Hall and without losing any rhythm, she set flames to any area with abominations; turning the abominations to ashes.
Some of the abominations managed to escape from the tower of flames and began to rush towards Sloane with weapons in their hands.
"I'm gonna turn you all into ashes for tarnishing my family name" Sloane said, as she raised her left hand in the sky and several silver arrows and spears made from her mana, began to form above head.
"I can see you're having fun" Nathan said through telepathy in a casual manner
"Really?" Sloane let out "I'm just embracing my true nature" she said as she brought down her hand and with that signal, the arrows and spears began to rain down in the town, destroying most of the buildings while also taking down the abominations.
"I guess so" Nathan said "It is in a queen's nature to protect her people"
All of a sudden, there was a loud explosion as two bright yellow pillars of light rose up and into the sky from the locations of two of the tunnel exits.
"Mum, Kayden and I have taken care of two of the tunnel exits" Mackenzie reported
"I can see that" Sloane said as she stabbed one of the abominations approaching her and cut off the head of another
Just then, three more explosions which shook the ground went off as three bright yellow pillars of light rose into the sky from three other tunnel exits.

Earlier
In front of a certain tunnel exit
Nathan was sitting on the roof of the van his team came in. Meanwhile, his teammates were fighting off the abominations that had managed to crawl out from the exit. He had the look of someone who didn't seem bothered and was completely disappointed in the castle staff.
Lately, he could feel his power increasing at a fast rate. So, he felt that getting involved would not give his team the experience he thought they needed. So, in the meantime, he decided to mess with Sloane until the first two explosions went off.
When Mackenzie teleported with Kayden to their location, Nathan got off the van and with a snap of his fingers, all of the abominations that his team had been struggling with, immediately turned to ash. However, Mackenzie could see that Nathan had set them ablaze from within, due to her special eyes.
"Step back. I can't have the kids getting hurt" Nathan said, as he walked towards the tunnel exit while his team pulled back. He pointed his hand at the tunnel and shot a pulse of magic inside before walking away. To the surprise of his team, smoke began to escape from the tunnel, however, Mackenzie was the only one who understood and looked at Nathan with widened eyes.
"Show off" Mackenzie mumbled and Nathan chuckled
"Says the person who's been setting off explosions everywhere" Nathan said as he went back to sitting on the roof of the van
"Mine wasn't on purpose" Mackenzie said with a pout, as she and Kayden approached the the tunnel exit.
Kayden put his hands in front of him and hazel coloured magic circles spread out from the centre of his palms, enveloping the whole tunnel. Digits appeared like that of a clock, and an hour and minute hand appeared, as the clock slowly started counting from twelve on the dot.
"K-kenzie a little help please" Kayden said "We need to head to other areas"
"I know" Mackenzie said with glowing yellow eyes as she put her hands on Kayden's back.
As soon as she did that, the magic circles turned bright yellow and the minute hand on the clock began to move faster.
"Well, on to the next area" Mackenzie said as she took her hand off Kayden's back while Kayden dropped his hands and scratched the back of his head with a small chuckle. Mackenzie took his hand and they both teleported on to the next area.
'I can somewhat guess what she meant by she couldn't control it' Nathan thought. "Everyone, stay away from that tunnel" he said, as it seemed as though the spell was slowly sinking into the tunnel while the colour kept getting brighter after the minute hand touched nine.
The first explosion from an area closer to Nathan's, went off. Followed by a second. Before the tunnel in front of him exploded from within and at the same time, three bright yellow pillars of light rose into the sky.
'This confirms it...Kenzie has Sloane and I's level of magic power' Nathan thought as he stared at the tunnel exit.
It was still intact. Except for the fact that there was a bright yellow pillar surrounding it.
"This kid that we're raising is really something" Nathan said to Sloane through telepathy "Did you leave her to protect Kayden because you knew about this?"

Present
Hearing Nathan, Sloane laughed, "It seems I know more about my daughter, than you do" she said as she cut off the heads of two abominations before stabbing one with a spear and setting the whole area ablaze with blue flames
"Sloane, Mackenzie's done here" Priya said "My location is the last and she and Kayden just sealed the tunnel"
"Until there's an explosion, the tunnel is yet to be sealed" Timothy corrected. And just then, an explosion went off and the last pillar of light went up into the sky.
"This good enough?" Kayden asked through the telepathy
"Well done, Kenzie and Kayden" Sloane said "The abominations have stopped crawling out completely. All that's left is to teleport Priya to the mechanism"
"Got it" Mackenzie said
