Chapter 110 - Ch.112 Ryuu Vs The Dragon(3)

"Fuuu"

I exhaled a deep breath as I looked at the flying dragon in front of me, its wings covered by flames wising to burn me away and its impenetrable defense that has been able to take all of my hits.

In terms of strength, it is weaker than Shizu or Bereeta in fact it is quite equal to me, but I haven't been able to defeat it.

It is almost like a perfect counter to me, a speed-type fighter whose attack does the most damage when the sword pierces the opponent.

It even took on my most destructive attack,, an attack I created for fighting against enemies with strong defense.

An attack that breaks down all matter that comes in contact with it and that dragon has been able to defend against it.

It was a situation where the wisest decision was to run, I am not running, is it due to pride or arrogance?

No! I want to defeat it and it's as simple as that, I can't help but smile when thinking about the battle that is about to begin. It seems I have become a bigger battle addict than I thought.

"Well, then dragon let's see how long can you resist my blade."

"Grrrrrrrr" The dragon gave a small growl to my words as if telling me to try killing it.

Moving at a speed so fast that the Dragon couldn't even react I appeared behind its back, or so I thought as the moment I appeared there the dragon's flaming tail came flying toward me.

Mid way its speed increased by two times but as I was prepared I swiftly dodged it and prepared for my next attack. Putting my blade back in its sheath I took a deep breath and looked at the dragon.

The dragon had already turned its body toward me showing the quickly healing slash I left on the scales of its neck.

The world started to slow down for me and after a while came to a complete halt, looking at the dragon who seemed frozen in time I moved.

Appearing in front of the dragon's head I pulled my sword back and filled it with as much energy as it could possibly handle. The sword started to glow a white glow and due to the sheer heat produced by it, the fabric of space-time around it started to distort.

Increasing all my physical specs to the max by using the energy I thrusted my sword with full force as it made contact with the dragon.

Clink

With that sound the world started to move at normal speed, being completely covered by the white flames the dragon was thrown back as its head slammed into the ground with such force that it created a crater.

It was a strong attack, so strong that it may have even rattled the dragon's brain a little, but I wasn't satisfied as I wasn't able to cut it.

"Roooooooooooooooooooooor"

With a roar the dragon stood up from the ground and looked at me, opening its mouth it blasted me with golden flames not minding the white flames covering it.

Seeing the flames coming at me I simply did a vertical slash as the wind pressure created by it slashed the sea of flames into two. Not being able to hit me the flames hit the ceiling of the cave as I remained unharmed in the middle of it.

The dragon flew and charged at me as its claw got bigger getting covered by golden flames, as the claw was about to hit me I simply dodged it and gave the dragon my counterattack.

Kicking it in the head I sent it falling down but the dragon quickly stabilized itself in mid-air as it again charged at me. Before it could even reach me I did my own attack.

Putting my sword above my head I held its hilt with both of my hands, the sword started to get covered by my purplish golden aura as it started to grow bigger and bigger.

Reaching a length of sixty meters I slashed the sword down with all my strength, simply due to the act of doing this the wind pressure created by it damaged the walls of the cave.

Even though it was big it was fast too, and the dragon who was charging at me with full speed wasn't even able to dodge as the sword connected with its back.

BANGGGGGGGGGG!!

As the sword connected with a bang sound the dragon started to get pushed down due to the heaviness of the strike, and the giant sword returned to its original size and as for the energy covering it.

It started to compress and get smaller and smaller, finally getting to the size of a tennis ball it followed the dragon down.

As the dragon was about to stand up from the ground and take flight again the tennis ball-sized energy ball came in front of it and exploded.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

A pure call of blue light erupted as it covered the entire cave eating up Ryuu and the dragon with it. The blast didn't stop at the cave only, as through all the entrances in the floor it traveled into the other floor and even reached the entrance of the dungeon.

All the monsters that were in the dungeon at that time died with no chance of survival as the attack damaged the entire dungeon at the same time.

As the light faded and the dust cleared you could see the figure of Ryuu and the Dragon staring at each other.

"Well, didn't hurt to try," I said as looked at the uninjured figure of the dragon, well I didn't think that the attack I did would be able to damage the dragon anyway.

The Dragon spread its wings as it removed all the dust from its body, giving Ryuu a big smirk and showing its unharmed body it flew from the ground and charged at Ryuu.

'What do I do'

I thought to myself as I looked at the dragon flying toward me, currently, I am using thought acceleration so as to make plans to find a way to defeat it.

As of now the only attacks that have even been able to damage the dragons are Breakdown, Final Strike, and Light of Judgment.

Among them, the Breakdown is quite useless as the amount of damage I can deal with it, to the dragon is simply too little and the dragon will be able to easily heal it. As for Light of Judgment, it is too energy-consuming and it also didn't do that much damage.

The only viable option is Final Strike, and in fact, according to the calculation if I am able to do it continuously for fifty times I will be able to cut its neck off. But there is a problem and that is if I use that technique more than twelve times at once I will die.

'What are your thoughts True Sage.' I asked.

[Master, looking at the current situation it is better to leave the dragon for now and deal with it in the future when you grow stronger. But I know you wouldn't want to do that, so the only viable option with any chance of success is your final card. However, I will advise you to not use it as in case of failure it will leave your body in shambles and you won't be able to defend against the dragon.] True Sage spoke in a concerned voice.

'Well, that's why that is called the final card, but anyway thank you for your concern, True Sage.' I said as I gripped the hilt of my sword.

[Understood.] True Sage replied and got silent again.

'And it's not like we don't have a backup plan in case of me being near death door.' I continued reminding her about it. Well, I don't think she forgets it anyway.

The Dragon claw descended on me as I blocked, although it increased its speed from time to time either by two or three times. I have become quite used to it and am able to react just fine.

Pushing the claw away from me I looked at the majestic figure of the giant dragon standing in front of me.
