The next morning I awoke late by design with Mami's soft embrace being the first thing I awoke to. But railing my heavily dependant magical girl wasn't the focus of today. No today I was going to dealing with a devil heir that was causing my people trouble.
Though before I left to go with Sona, I did make sure to grab Bibbi Dong and Qian Renxue who wanted to see the Devils Rating Games for a variety of reasons. Still as I strolled into the Student Council room. I saw Sona's expression tighten at the sight of the two 'humans.'
I smiled and then said easily. "Sona I hope it's not too much of a bother but I wanted to bring a couple of the people of my own group to see the Rating Game."
Sona slowly nodded before she said calmly as she pushed up her glasses. "If they wish to merely be spectators then that will not be an issue. May I have your names though seeing as you both are clearly associated with my contracted mage?"
Both Bibbi Dong and Qian Renxue knew that I was the contracted magician for a number of devils so they didn't let their pride at someone clearly much weaker then them.
"My name is Qian Renxue, and this is my mother Bibbi Dong." She said with all the charm and charisma of someone who had but been a 'prince' in her previous world.
Bibbi Dong likewise gave a short nod of the head before she said in a more regal tone. "I do hope this will not be a bother."
To which Sona shook her head and said respectfully. "No, this will not be a bother. It is in fact good to meet you both in capable women who will be working alongside Jake."
She then looked to me and said firmly. "Are you ready to go Jake? The rating game is set to begin in half an hour. And we will have plenty of people to talk to in the Underworld in the meantime."
"Yeah let's get going. I haven't seen Serafall in a long while as well. Will she be there as well?" I asked curiously as I approached Sona and her peerage with Tsubkai in particular looking... Rather oddly at Qian for some reason.
But she didn't say anything even if I was a bit worried about Qian's state in A- Having the Seraphim Martial Soul. And B- Also being the inheritor for the Angel God back in the Doulou Dalu world.
Regardless however, Sona's mana filled the air and beneath our feet formed a magical gylph that glowed with power. And then with a flash of power she visibly strained herself to teleport us all to the Underworld.
Coming out of the teleportation spell I could feel the difference in the ambient mana as the Underworld's natural magical energy was alot heavier then the surface worlds.
'Hmm, I wonder if there would be any difference if I used the mana in this air to cultivate?' I mused to myself before Sona began speaking to her peerage and me.
She was mostly just running over Gragg Forneus's abilities and his peerages own abilities and once she was done. She focused on me and said firmly.
"Jake I understand it may be rude with how I brought you here. But I hope you can still allow my peerage to engage first. Let them show themselves at their best, so that they may show themselves worthy of being promoted as higher class devils in the future."
"That is perfectly understandable then. I will just act as a safety net and wait in the back with you then." I said respectfully to her wishes as I understood that even with my strength as an option.
I was proud she was wanting to stand up for herself... There was just one issue, Gragg for all that he was a shitheel, had a full peerage with more competent fighters besides a couple members of Sona's peerage.
As Sona's peerage most certainly wasn't Rias's peerage who all had Ultimate class potential at the very least. No most of Sona's peerage unless I or like Azazel got involved with his sacred gear project would be capped at peak High Class at best.
Which to be far, that was the whole point and wish for the evil piece system. For the reincarnated devils to one day reach High-class and with time become attached to Devil society and create a new peerage.
My thoughts were cut off as Bibbi Dong, Qian Renxue and I turned towards the large double doors leading out of the room we had teleported into. As we could all sense the powerful mana signature rushing for us.
"Here comes my sister... Please forgive her, for she is my beloved sister, but also a fool at the same time." Sona said with some clear exasperation.
Then with a loud BOOM! The doors were kicked off with Serafall's bombastic voice ringing out. "Go my Shoujo Brigade! Save my sister from... Oh hey Jake, you brought new people haha!"
My face twitched as Homura in a fucking maid costume followed behind the shameless Serafall's steps with Madoka and Sayaka also following along with rather amused expressions as they waved back to me.
Though... I did notice that Madoka was somehow a devil now which was very fucking confusing frankly before I realized that it was almost certain that Serafall literally camped out on Ajuka's front porch until the mad scientist was forced to go above and beyond to reincarnate the goddess.
"Hello Serafall. I hope you and you ladies have been doing well." I said with a calm greeting.
Though as Madoka, Sayaka, Homura and I began talking. I saw in the corner of my eye... Serafall and Bibbi Dong were giving each other measuring looks. And sadly not the damn she is also hot kind of measuring looks.
It was entirely the 'I can rip this woman in half.' Kind of looks like women of power loved to give others even in this harem world.
Still seeing this... Off-key stare off going on, I clapped my hands together and after introducing the two in Bibbi Dong and Qian Renxue to Serafall and the others, I obviously asked for the two to be allowed to watch the rating game as they hadn't seen one in person yet before.
"Oh let them have some seats... I suppose I could do that for a little favor from you Jake." Serafall said coyly and making me roll my eye's as I could tell she wanted more sexy times with her sister who wasn't a 'complete' degenerate like herself.
The only times Serafall could get her face between her sister's thighs was when I was already or had already been between said thighs and such afterall.
Either way I gave a wry nod, nodding smile before I paused as Serafall's lewd smirk died and she said with some amusement.
"It's rather funny Jake. Normally, contracted mages don't appear in Rating Games that often if at all. But with you being so active in killing Genbu at your age. Now the younger generation is focused on recruiting their own contracted mage to enhance the numbers of their peerage beyond just the numbers allowed by their evil pieces."
Which for people like Rias in canon who had Issei hogging up all her pawn's that made alot more sense as for the most part. For devils who had recruits who took up a lot of pieces, it was because they managed to pick up a demi-god or something to that effect.
Still, I raised an eyebrow as I realized what she was getting at. "Oh? So you are saying this angler fish looking mutant has a contracted mage of note as well?"
To which Serafall nodded seriously and said. "Indeed, though he is certainly on his best behavior around her as she is a descendant of the Fae Lord, Vivian, from the Lady of the Lake. Not to mention, after hearing you would be joining the fight, he also had his peerage members recruit another dozen no-name magicians as well."
Though those no-name magicians wouldn't be an issue even if they could pool their power together for greater spells... Possibly if that. I said calmly but with certainty. "I understand Serafall, I won't let Sona lose this and allow House Sitri to lose face."
'Whoop's fell back into cultivator mindset haha.' I thought with some amusement as Sona literally shredded her previous battle plans and got back to work with the new information at hand.
