Itsuki & Keiko: Really?! Thank goodness!
With news about Kaneki being transferred back to his home by the end of the school day.
The Higanbana girls immediately talked about it with Itsuki, Keiko, Azusa and Emi in Class 1-C during lunch time.
Azusa: That's a relief, although isn't it a bit early to allow cousin to be transported back home?
Miku: We asked her about that, although she told us "don't worry about it, the council's doctors already did a thorough check up on him to be sure that it would be safe for him" and the next thing she said was "and since they told me it's okay, I'll be the one moving him to be extra safe." So that's just about it.
Chikao: Haa~ It's been a while since we last saw Kaneki... Even though he's going to be unconscious the whole time, I'm glad we're able to see him again.
Sachi: Nod~ Yeah! I hope us visiting him would cause Kaneki to wake up!
Emi: That's a lot of hopeful thinking Saki-san.
Sachi: Well better than thinking about anything negative happening!
Natsuki: Um...
Shino: Hmm? Do you have something to say, Natsuki?
Natsuki wanted to tell them something, but was a bit hesitant.
Natsuki: Sigh~
But she was able to say it.
Natsuki: I think we shouldn't visit Kaneki all at once.
Everyone: Eh?
Their entire group and some of their classmates were nearby were surprised upon hearing Natsuki's suggestion.
Natsuki: It's just... I feel like I won't be comfortable visiting Kaneki with you guys nearby.
All 5: Oh...
The rest of the Higanbana girls understood how she felt.

(I understand where she's getting at, I wouldn't be comfortable seeing the ones who betrayed my trust being near Kaneki too.)
Shino, Yuuka & Miku's thoughts*

Yuuka: If you feel that way... Then sure.
Chikao: Agreed, if that's what you want then we'll allow it.
Natsuki: Thank you for understanding...
Itsuki: Soo~ how exactly are you girls going to visit him? Will it just be you 5 without Mizutani-san or~?
Natsuki: I already thought about that.
Azusa: You did? What do you have in mind?
Natsuki faced Shino, Yuuka and Miku with slight hesitance on her face and said.
Natsuki: Shino, Yuuka, Miku you three should be the first ones to visit Kaneki.
Shino, Yuuka & Miku: Eh?
Shino, Yuuka and Miku were very caught off guard after hearing Natsuki allowing them to visit Kaneki.
And before they could ask her why, Sachi did it for them.
Sachi: Wait are you sure you're fine with that?
Natsuki: Yes I'm fine with it, although I am a bit anxious I'll trust them for now.
Shino, Yuuka & Miku: Oh.
Natsuki: Besides. You three still need to apologize to Kaneki, remember?
Shino: W-What?
Natsuki: You guys still haven't done it yet, since your last attempt was ruined.
Miku: Natsuki...
The three were touched by Natsuki's kindness, almost shedding tears.
Yuuka: T-Thank you.
Shino: We appreciate it.
Natsuki: ...
Natsuki didn't responded and then faced Sachi and Chikao.
Natsuki: The same goes for you two.
Sachi & Chikao: Us?!
Natsuki: You two deceived Kaneki as well, you two knew about their attempts and plans but never told Kaneki about any of them.
Sachi & Chikao: !!!
Azusa: Mizutani-san is right, it was a bit idiotic of you two to not tell cousin.
Sachi & Chikao: W-We're sorry...
Natsuki: It isn't us you should be apologizing to.
As the girls continued to talk, Itsuki and Keiko left and chatted between themselves.
Itsuki: Heh. I wonder what Kaneki would do in this situation?
Keiko: Who knows? But it's good to see the girls a bit better now huh?
Itsuki: Yup. Man Kaneki is probably going to feel so bad for their fight the other day.
Keiko: Yeah. Speaking of which didn't you also want to visit Kaneki?
Itsuki: Obviously, but we should probably wait until his loved ones visit him first.
Keiko: Yeah you're right.
Meanwhile at Kaneki's hospital room*
At the same time at Shimotsuki Hospital, the Doctors from the Council were doing the last few check ups on Kaneki before allowing him to be transferred back home
Atsuo: How is our son doctor? Is it safe for him yet?
After a few hours of checking his body for any abnormalities or any possible damage after his surgery.
The doctors came out of Kaneki's hospital room to bring news to Atsuo and Aiya who were waiting outside of the room.
Council Doctor 1: We're happy to tell you that he's safe to be transferred back home.
Aiya: Thank goodness!
Council Doctor 2: Although as you already know, he will still all of the equipment in his room to monitor his condition.
Atsuo: That's alright, we'll pay as much as needed.
Council Doctor 3: You don't need to pay for anything, Atsuo-sama.
Aiya: Why not???
Council Doctor 2: It's just our small way of thanking Kaneki-sama for saving our home back in Hell.
After hearing this, Atsuo and Aiya were speechless as the doctors who looked after Kaneki were that Kaneki saved during the War of Hell many years ago.
Council Doctor 3: We'll notify Kotori-sama then, we wish you and Kaneki-sama safe travels back to your home.
After one of the Council Doctors said this, the three Doctors left to notify Kotori.
Atsuo: Lets go.
Aiya: Nod~
Atsuo and Aiya then entered Kaneki's room, intending to visit him before he gets transferred back home.
Atsuo: Hey Kaneki.
Aiya: Are you holding up well?
They greeted him but as usual, he didn't answer.
Kaneki: ...
His eyes still black and blue staring at the white ceiling above him.
Atsuo: Hey Kaneki, good news you're allowed to be brought back home.
Aiya: Yeah! It's good news! Oh and here's Tohru-san! She wants to talk!
Aiya took out Tohru intending use her to attempt communication with Kaneki.
Tohru: [Aiya-chan are you sure about this?]
Aiya: Yes! He's unconscious but maybe you two can talk to each other telepathically!
Tohru: [Sure... I guess?]
Tohru was a bit hesitant considering she never really talked to Kaneki in his sleep or even in a coma before.
So she wasn't sure if she even could communicate with him.
Tohru: [Do what you must then.]
Aiya: Alright.
Aiya placed Tohru onto Kaneki's chest, and then waited.
Atsuo: Are you sure this will work?
Aiya: I hope!
10 minutes later~
Aiya: Alright 10 minutes have passed.
Grip!
After 10 minutes, Aiya and Atsuo both grabbed Tohru's hilt.
Atsuo: So Tohru how was—
Tohru: [Silence...]
Atsuo & Aiya: What?
Tohru: [It was complete silence, our boy hadn't responded to my calls he never once spoke.]
Both Atsuo and Aiya frowned after hearing the bad news.
Tohru: [I'm sorry I couldn't bring any good news.]
Atsuo: It's alright Tohru.
Aiya: Yeah. At least we tried.
Kotori: Yeah at least you did.
Atsuo & Aiya: Kotori?!
Tohru: [Oh Kotori-chan is here? Could you two throw me to her.]
Following Tohru's request, the two gave her to Kotori.
Kotori: Hey Mama, I saw you guys trying to communicate with Kaneki-chan.
Tohru: [Yeah but we are unsuccessful.]
Kotori: I know. Anyways I'm currently using a clone right now, and we'll be bringing Kaneki-chan back home now. I already prepared a ambulance.
Atsuo: Yeah that sounds like a good idea, using Darkness travel might hurt him.
Kotori: Yeah. Well then I'll get to work now.
Aiya: Sure.
Atsuo: We'll leave it to you.
Atsuo and Aiya then left the room so Kotori could prepare Kaneki for transport.
2 Hours later~
Kotori: And~ there!
Ambulance Driver: Good everything is in place.
With preparations now ready, and Kaneki is safely in the ambulance.
Atsuo & Aiya: See you later Kotori/Kotori-chan.
Kotori: Bye~
Kaneki is finally coming home as the ambulance left the hospital.
