Miku: Wow Onii-chan is still steaming.
Natsuki: And we've already finished buying our swimsuits.
After learning that Kaneki had talked about love with his cousin Azusa, the Higanbana girls and Azusa left him with Kotori and Emi as they went to purchase their swimsuits.
But after doing so and returning to the three, Kaneki was still in a trance and steam was still coming out of his head.
Shino: Sigh~ Poor Kaneki must be really confused now.
Chikao: Yeah. I do like the thought of him realizing he has feelings for us, him being in this state is kinda sad.
Miku: Oi! Why didn't you stop them Kotori-san?
Miku the pinned the blame on Kotori but she already had a good reason prepared.
Kotori: Don't blame me, I did not know this would happen. I already knew that he had developed special feelings for you girls a while back but had forgotten.
Kotori was speaking from her heart, she hadn't stopped Azusa because she wanted Kaneki to remember the feelings he started to develop for the Higanbana girls before he had forgotten.
Kotori: So when cousin Azusa had started talking about what love is to him, I thought it would be a good thing because he would remember his special feelings for you girls. Although was an unintended consequence.
Hearing her reason the Miku couldn't really make an argument so she just calmed herself down.
Miku: Sigh~ Then what are we going to do about Onii-chan?
The Higanbana girls and Kotori all stared at Kaneki not knowing what to do. But as they were at a loss.

Emi had stepped forward and gave a suggestion.

Natsuki and the rest of the Higanbana girls immediately realized what Emi was saying and openly agreed to it, while Sachi was just confused.
Chikao: Kaneki's head is steaming right? So it's definitely hot right now. If we cool his head down he'll probably be released from his trance.

With Sachi now understanding the plan was immediately approved.

With the Higanbana girl's command, Kotori had copied her grand mother's ability that Kaneki held and unleashed freezing cold air directly onto his head.
Crackling~
Ice began to form on his head and as Kotori was freezing his head, some onlookers stared in confusion.
And very quickly.

Kaneki: SO COLD! ONEE-CHAN! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!
Kaneki had quickly reacted and broke the ice block that formed on his head and causing a small mess on the floor.
Kaneki: Oh great! Now you made me make a mess!
Kotori: Don't worry about that Kaneki-chan, that ice is dry ice it'll just turn into gas once it sublimates.
Kaneki: Still! Don't do that out of nowhere!
Kaneki was obviously very pissed after having his head frozen in ice.
Miku: Doesn't feel good to be frozen now does it?
Natsuki: Yeah. Now you know how Miku felt when you were training with her.
Kaneki: !!!
But as soon as he heard the familiar voices of his friends he slowly turned to them with a slightly panicked face.
Natsuki: Yo! Kaneki!
Chikao: We bought the swimsuits you picked out for us.
Kaneki: R-Really?
Shino: Yeah. Mine was surprisingly not that revealing, you were very thoughtful Kaneki thank you.
Miku: Seriously these swimsuits you picked for us are so comfortable for our skins.
Yuuka & Chikao: Be ready for tomorrow Kaneki!
The Higanbana girls praised and even teased Kaneki a little.
Kaneki: Y-Yeah...
But Kaneki couldn't look a them straight to the face after what he had experienced, he was visibly flustered.

Seeing this Natsuki decided to act.
Natsuki: I know! Why don't we get you, your own swimsuit?
She offered for herself and the rest of the Higanbana girls to buy Kaneki a swimsuit but.
Kaneki: No thanks. I think I'll pass on that offer.
Natsuki: Are you sure?
Kaneki: Yeah... I have enough swimsuits at home, so I'll just choose the ones I already have.
In order to calm Kaneki down, Natsuki pushed even more.
Natsuki: I see. In that case is there anything you want to buy?

Picking up on what Natsuki was doing, the rest of the Higanbana girls began to pitch in as well.
Miku: Yeah! Since you did pick out swimsuits we might as well get even with you.

Seeing that his friends were insistent of buying him something, he nodded his head.
Kaneki: Well... There's one thing I'm interested after we arrived.
Sachi: Ai-chan we'll accompany Kaneki for now, once Azusa-san returns to get Emi-kun you can go home.
Kotori: Okay!
Natsuki: Alright then, Kaneki lead the way!
Kaneki: O-Okay.
With that the Higanbana girls had existed the swimsuit store with Kaneki as he led them to the thing he wanted to get.
Shortly later~
Natsuki: Wait seriously?
Miku: Huh. Onii-chan must really like that series huh?
Kaneki: I'm sorry... It's definitely too expensive for you guys.
Kaneki bought them to a model kit store and showed them a model kit featuring the two characters in his favorite manga.
Shizu Ishinomori and Hiro Akikawa.
Kaneki: I can just buy them myself you know? You guys don't need to-
Kaneki was very hesitant of letting his friends buy the model kits so he was about to tell them to stop but.
Sachi: So the two are high-end much worth ¥15,000? I can cover ¥9,000 is that alright for you guys?
Natsuki: I have an extra ¥1,000.
Shino: Same here.
Miku: I guess most of us will be pitching in a thousand yen each huh?
They didn't care and all pitched in so they could buy Kaneki the two model kits.
Yuuka: Good! Also sorry that you have to pitch in the most Sachi.
Chikao: Yeah sorry about that.

Seeing that his friends were all determined to get him his model kits, he felt a bit relieved although he still felt a bit guilty for them spending their money on him.

After buying Kaneki his two model kits, the Higanbana girls and Kaneki existed the mall and started walking home with Kaneki carrying the two model kit boxes with a hug.
Kaneki: Um... Thanks guys, I guess I can start assembling one of them tomorrow on our trip.
Sachi: Just don't lose any pieces or you'll never complete them.

Kaneki was hugged the two model kits a bit tighter with a smile on his face.
Natsuki: ...
Now that Kaneki had calmed down, Natsuki made another move.
Natsuki: Hey Kaneki could you walk me home?
She asked for Kaneki to walk her home.
Kaneki: Sure. Wait what about you guys?
Chikao: Don't worry we can handle ourselves, plus I bet Kotori-san is watching so she'll help us when we need to.
Miku: Yeah so don't worry about us.
The rest of the Higanbana girls immediately figured out that Natsuki wanted some time with Kaneki so they allowed it.

And so Kaneki and Natsuki had separated from the rest of the Higanbana girls and started walking to her home.
20 Minutes later~
After 20 Minutes of walking Kaneki and Natsuki were getting close to Natsuki's home, although they haven't talked much.
Natsuki: Alright!
But now that they both are in a quiet area with barely anyone close by, Natsuki turned around to face Kaneki.
Natsuki: Kaneki.
Kaneki: !!! Y-Yes?
Kaneki was initially startled but immediately started cooperating.
Kaneki: Do you have something to say?
Natsuki: Yes that's right.
As the two locked eyes, Natsuki gathered the courage and asked him.
