Kaneki: So why did you guys bring me here?
As P.E Classes were underway, the Higanbana girls had brought Kaneki to one of the storage rooms for unknown reasons.
Kaneki: Do you all need help with something or?
Kaneki was very confused, but their answer was not what he had expected.
Chikao: It's sooo~ hot~! We needed to cool down.
Natsuki: We're so sorry about this Kaneki but...
All 6: Could you turn down the heat in this room?!
Though it was already autumn, it was still relatively hot so the Higanbana girls wanted to escape the heat by going somewhere covered by shade.
And also bring Kaneki so he could turn down the temperature even further.
Kaneki: You guys could've just told me y'know? I would happily put ice on you guys!
He said with a smile, but the Higanbana girls were quickly against his suggestion.
Miku: No no Onii-chan. We do NOT want that, it may cool us down but it's super uncomfortable!
Sachi: Yeah besides once the ice melts we'll only get wet and we might even get sick.
Yuuka: Yeah did you not think about that?
Kaneki: Oh~! I see! Okay then!
Upon hearing them out Kaneki had agreed to slightly lower the temperature in the storage room.
Crack!
Kaneki: Here we go~ Shimo wind!
Flap! Flap!
Swoosh~!
Kaneki created two wings made of ice and began flapping them, creating cold air and spreading it throughout the storage room.
Shino: Haa~ that feels a lot better.
Natsuki & Chikao: Yeah this is a lot better.
Needless to say the Higanbana girls were very satisfied with Kaneki's help.
Kaneki: Alright this room will be just cool enough for a while. Anyways I'll be heading out now.
After fulfilling the Higanbana girl's request, Kaneki intended to go back to P.E class but.
Grip!
Natsuki: Nope! You're staying here.
Kaneki: Eh?
Grip!
Sachi: Agreed! We're probably going to get in trouble anyways, but you did help us so you're getting in trouble too!
Both of Kaneki's arms were held firmly by Natsuki and Sachi who were urging him to stay.
Kaneki: But we still have class.
Miku: It wouldn't hurt to skip class once in a while.
Chikao: Yeah! C'mon join us Kaneki.
Shino & Yuuka: C'mon!
Seeing that his friends really wanted him to stay, Kaneki reluctantly accepted.
Kaneki: Fine then. But I want to sit on the spring board.
All 6: Yay!
With Kaneki joining them, he found a spring board and sat on it.
Boing!
Kaneki: Hehe~ it's bouncy.
Natsuki: So Kaneki, how are you feeling now? Happy?
Kaneki: Mhmm! I am!my day is going great! Getting my special Onee-chan A la mode, you guys calling me cute and playing with the guys in our class made me so happy!
Natsuki: Hehe~ happy to hear.
Kaneki: Hmm..
After Kaneki's initial answer, something came up in his mind.
Kaneki: Hey isn't it strange we haven't had summer break yet? We usually get our summer break around July but we still had classes until the W.S.S.F.
Kaneki was actually curious to why they hadn't gotten their summer break during July and August.
Natsuki: Now that you mentioned it, it really was strange that we haven't gotten them yet.
Miku: I never actually thought about it, it's actually pretty weird.
Sachi, Shino & Chikao: Yeah!
They were all curious now but as they were began questioning, Yuuka gave them the answer.
Yuuka: The W.S.S.F was precisely the reason why we didn't get summer break.
All 6: What?
Yuuka began explaining everything regarding their lack of a summer break.
Yuuka: Because in the W.S.S.F all school's participating in it needed their students to be in tip top shape, so summer break for the school's that are participating are usually cancelled.
Natsuki: Wait! That's not fair at all!
Yuuka: Yeah but there's no need to worry, because next month after our exams we'll be given an autumn break until the end of November.
Chikao: Wait really?
Yuuka: Yup and once we're done with the usual schedule in December, we'll get our winter break.
Natsuki: That's good! Wow I was worried for a second we'd study until we get unconscious.
Kaneki: Yeah same here.
After their talk about their breaks from school was over, Kaneki made a suggestion.
Kaneki: Since it's still relatively hot, let's go to a beach tomorrow.
All 6: Eh?!
The Higanbana girls were very surprised after hearing Kaneki inviting them to the beach.
Natsuki: A trip to the b-beach?
Kaneki: Yes.
Natsuki: W-Wait hold on! By beach you mean a place with a lot of sand that is by the sea?
Kaneki: What else? Of course.
Natsuki was very nervous, as for the others.
Chikao: Well... If we're going to the beach we should get new swimsuits right?
Yuuka: Y-Yeah. Kaneki you should help us pick some out.
Since they needed new bikini's they were nervously asking Kaneki to help them out.
Shino: Yeah we'll need your help with picking some up.
Miku: Yeah we'll pick any type that you like.
Mostly because they wanted to get swimsuits that would match Kaneki's preferences.
Natsuki: Guys?!
Kaneki: Yeah sure, I'll help you guys out.
Natsuki was surprised by their sudden request, but Kaneki being the innocent boy he is. Accepted their request very easily.
Kaneki: So after my training?
Shino: Yeah! Thanks Kaneki.
Kaneki: Happy to help.
With that their conversation regarding their trip to the beach the next day ending, they all just happily waited until their P.E class was over.
Natsuki's thoughts*
(Kaneki's going to help us pick swimsuits?! Ahhhhh!)
Except for Natsuki because she can't handle the thought of Kaneki helping them pick out their swimsuits, and also.
"Does this look good on me?"
She even began imagining herself and the rest showing their choices to Kaneki.
(Ahhhh! I'm going to die at this rate!)
She was so nervous.
A few hours later~
After school had ended Kaneki, Kotori and the Higanbana girls had met up with the Shirogane family and their maids and butler near Shimotsuki forest.
Yukiya: Hehe~ you're so adorable, Kotori-chan.
Shiho: Hehe~ I have a new niece!
Kaneki's great aunt Yukiya Shirogane and her Daughter Shiho Shirogane were warmly greeting Kotori.
Kotori: Hehe~ nice to meet you! I can't believe I have an aunt who has the same name as my grandmother.
Kotori was very happy being spoiled by the two older women.
Azusa: Sigh~ I'm so sorry about this cousins.
Azusa was quite embarrassed with how her mother and grandmother were acting towards Kotori, But Kaneki hadn't really mind.
Kaneki: It's alright.
Miku: Yeah this isn't really a problem. Thanks again for helping my Onii-chan.
Miku was quite thankful to Azusa's family for helping her brother train.
Azusa: Please we haven't even started yet, speaking of training...
Natsuki: This is going to be so much fun to watch.
Sachi: I've gotten enough popcorn!
Shino: Good luck everyone!
Yuuka: Don't get yourselves seriously injured!
Azusa was a bit anxious seeing the Higanbana girls-
Emi: Good luck Azusa-chan!
And even her own boyfriend being in the sidelines.
Azusa: Are you sure they won't get hurt in our training?
She was worried that they'd get hurt from the training session.
Kaneki: Don't worry I'll make sure of it. I promise!
Azusa: Fine I guess...
But after hearing her cousin promising their safety, her anxiety had dropped a bit.
Kotori: Okay everyone! Let's get going! We're going to be training Kaneki-chan!
Kaneki: Alright let's go!
And now Kaneki's training session will soon start.
