"Su Xuan, are we heading back to the city?" Yu Antai asked as they left the wellness center. He glanced at the time; it was already six in the afternoon.
"No rush," Su Xuan said with a wave of his hand. "I saw the resort's promotional poster. There's a bonfire party tonight. We can join in. The kids will definitely love it."
"Yay, yay!" Yu Yu exclaimed excitedly before her father could even respond. "I've only ever seen bonfire parties on TV; I've never actually been to one! Let's go to the bonfire party tonight!"
At eight o'clock that evening, on a mountain ridge just outside the resort, rows of bonfires blazed to life. Figures danced and sang around the flames, and the air was thick with the aroma of barbecue. The party was open to all guests, not just Su Xuan and his group.
"Su Xuan, care for a beer?" By one of the bonfires, Alice sat down next to Su Xuan with two cans, handing one to him.
