The mountain road was treacherous enough before the collapse. Now that it had given way, it was completely impassable.
"We should be able to!" Su Xuan replied, patting the steering wheel mysteriously as he continued along the village's main road. He kept his speed down, as children or even cats and dogs would occasionally dart out. Hitting any of them would be a headache.
"Get out of the way! Are you trying to get killed?"
Fang Chao, however, couldn't be bothered with such caution. He sped down a narrow path, weaving and turning. Whenever someone blocked his way, he'd stick his head out the window and yell at them. He even ran over a chicken without so much as slowing down.
