The guards showed a puzzled look, but they still didn't lower their guns.
There is, in fact, open and covert competition between several compounds.
Since the smallest compound was annexed by the Jinmu Group, Weisheng Group and Huangle Group joined forces to form a united front, since neither could individually compete with the Jinmu Group.
Their collaboration is simply to prevent the Jinmu Group from taking over.
