As more and more relic users were being eliminated, the pool of contestants was getting smaller and smaller.
That meant that it became more and more likely for the favourites to start running into each other.
It finally happened when the saintess ran into one of the soldiers from the Kite Kingdom.
Though it could be said that they were on the same side, neither of them held anything back at all as they faced each other. In fact, it even seemed like they put in more effort when sparring with each other.
They were using techniques that they would normally hold back since there was no guarantee that the other side would be able to take it. But when they were facing each other, it wasn't as if there was anything that they had to worry about.
It was completely different when they were certain that the other side would be able to take their blows. Which was why there was no need for them to hold back at all.
What followed was an exciting feast for the eyes.
