The wolf cub continued to grow as it absorbed more mana from the dungeon.
In the game, the monsters that were in the dungeon would just respawn.
But when it came to real life, it seemed like these monsters had to be nurtured by the dungeon core.
Though thinking about it, it didn't really seem to make sense.
Where did the cubs come from in the first place?
If they could create the cubs, then why couldn't the dungeon core just create the wolf directly?
In a way, it almost felt like putting the horse before the carriage.
Still, this did explain why there was a timer for the boss to appear again.
After all, it did take some time for this wolf to fully absorb the mana from the dungeon and grow.
Once it was done, the first thing that I did was release a barrier in the surrounding area. This was an illusion barrier that would muddle the perception of anyone that approached it, causing them to go the other way.
What I was about to do wasn't something that I wanted others to see.
