After my hand made contact with the red gem, the same sensation came over me.
It was the same thing as when I made contact with the rock pillar at the rock elemental village.
As soon as my hand came in contact, there was the feeling of my divine energy being drained away by this red gem.
However, I already had experience with this matter and could easily control the rate that the red gem took my divine energy from me. It didn't take long for a steady rate of divine energy to flow from me into the red gem.
While this was happening, I could feel something pushing me back.
It seemed that this red gem was already growing from the amount of divine energy that I injected into it.
Though thinking about it, it seemed to make sense.
The rock pillar was the same size as the red gem was when I first started injecting divine energy into it. However, the final size of the rock pillar was definitely different from the final size of the red gem.
