When we finally arrived in the vicinity of the array, it was as we had expected.
This place had transformed into a completely different world.
This was the place that was closest to the large amounts of corruption energy that came out of the array.
That just meant that this was the place that was the most affected by all of the corruption energy that poured out.
At this point, the ground had been contaminated to the point that it was hard to call it normal ground. It was clear that there would be no life that would be able to thrive in a place like this with how the ground had changed.
I looked at King Kashou with a sympathetic look before saying, "We'll do our best to purify the corruption energy that's here, but you shouldn't get your hopes up. It'll take a long time before this corruption energy can be completely purified."
He just gave a simple nod in response, but his expression showed that he understood.
