Well, it was better to say that there was corruption energy inside of this piece of metal.
It wasn't that this piece of metal was releasing corruption energy, but rather it contained a large amount of it that was hard to keep in.
It was almost as if there was something that was about to burst any moment from this piece of metal in the ground.
After staring at it for a bit, I didn't hesitate to point the Staff of Earth at it.
When I did, there was this layer of divine energy earth that formed around this piece of metal.
Only when this layer of divine energy earth surrounded it did the sensation of corruption energy coming from this piece of metal stop. It formed a protective layer that seemed to contain the corruption energy that was inside of the metal.
Other than this, I didn't waste any time in creating a tunnel on either side of this hole.
