Beyond that, I wasn't able to figure anything else out about these black spheres.
Looking around at the others with me, it seemed like they drew the same conclusions.
No matter how we looked at these things, it really didn't seem like there's anything about them that would give a clue as to what they were.
But these things were precious enough that the forces of Destruction would send all those corruption energy monsters out to defend it. At the same time, there was all of this corruption energy that was gathered here just for these black spheres.
Though the one thing that was strange was how there weren't any corruption energy monsters in this area.
We had still been standing inside of the flames, so it wasn't as if we were out of the protection of the flames yet. But the flames that were around us weren't that dense either, so it wasn't as if it provided that much protection.
