Half a year passed in Dawn island since the pirates came to Foosha village.
"I want to join your crew shanks!" Luffy said to the red head In front of him who was sipping some booze from a beer glass.
"You are still a kid Luffy." Shanks said to Luffy while the younger kid was pouting.
"No, I am not A kid. I am A MAN!" Luffy replied to shanks with anger.
"Remember the last time you said that." Ao commented, Everybody laughed in the bar.
Sabo and Ace were not here at the current moment so they didn't get to enjoy the moment.
"Here, have some orange juice."Shanks said as he pushed a glass of orange juice towards Luffy.
"Thanks!" Luffy said, Picking the class up.
"Hahaha, What man drinks orange juice?" Shanks said, Everyone on the bar laughed once more.
"Captain, Just let the kid on the crew." Yassop said to shanks.
"He is right Shanks." Benn supported Yassop.
"He has friends here, And it is better to enjoy the life of a kid while he is still one." Shanks told Yassop and Benn.
"But we have Uta on the ship, His friends can join us too, I could also pick up Ussop from Syrup island." Yassop said while drinking beer.
"This is a pirate crew, Not a CHILDREN'S PARK." Shanks shouted at Yassop.
'This must be the moment when Luffy got his devilfruit, but I wonder where the bandits are this time.' Ao thought as he listened in on the conversation that was happening.
"This must be the bar where the pirates are." A bandit, slightly taller than average being skinny and lanky entered in with his men.
'Speak of the devil.' Ao said as he looked at the bunch entering the bar. Everyone's attention was diverted towards the bandits now.
"They look like a bunch of Puss*es to me." The bandit leader, higuma commented as his group of 20 bendites entered the bar.
"Welcome, What would you like t-" Makino said but was interrupted by the bandit. Luffy was gritting his teeth by anger now.
"Shut up woman, Give me 20 barrels of Booze and we'll leave peacefully." Higuma said rudely.
"The A-Alcohol has just ran out." Makino said to the bandit with a stutter.
"What are these good for nothing pirates drinking then." Higuma commented as he pulled out his sword and pointed it at Shanks.
"Like I said, We just ran out." Makino said to Higuma who snikered.
"Here, You can have this bottle, The cork is still unopened." Shanks said as he gave a bottle to Higuma, Higuma spotted on the ground before taking the bottle.
Shanks' face was shadowed by his straw hat as he gave the bottle to Higuma. Lifting the bottle up high, Higuma smashed it into Shank' head, Spilling the booze everywhere.
"Why'd you do that? Now the floor is all messed up." Shanks said as he grabbed the towel and started Wiping the floor with it.
"Shanks, Why are you not fighting him?" Luffy said from behind Shanks. Higuma looked at Luffy and Spit on Shanks' head.
"This dipshit doesn't have the balls to fight me, I am Higuma the bear, I have a bounty of 8 Million." Higuma said as he put a bounty poster In front of him, He showed it to all the people in the bar.
"What an idiot." Ao muttered under his breath, The atmosphere getting heavier and heavier, his face was now shadowed from his hair.
'This idiot has a death wish or something, Well I just need to be beginning of the completion of Step 2.' Ao thought as he smirked and sipped his milk.
Every second, the pressure in the atmosphere got heavier and heavier until it could be cut by a knife.
"Let's leave, Boys." Higuma said as he left the bar, Just before he exited a voice called out to him.
"Oi, Teddy bear!" Ao called out to Higuma, Mocking his "The bear" Epithet. Higuma slowly looked back at the kid and approached him.
"What did you just say you Faggot?" Higuma asked menacingly.
"I just called you out, Mr. Teddy bear." Ao said as he stood face to face with Higuma.
"What is the kid trying to do?" Yassop wondered.
"Beats me" Benn said.
"You did something today, Teddy, That I cannot forgive you for. You Disrespected one of my Friends." Ao said to the bandit while looking towards shanks.
"Beat him Ao, Kick his ass." Many crew members said as they hyped up the fight. Shanks had a new found respect for the kid along with many of Shanks crew members.
"That kid..." Shanks muttered under his breath with a small curl on his lips.
"You wanna fight, Pfft, Go play with dolls." Higuma said as he laughed.
"Let's take it outside, Teddy" Ao said as he led Higuma to the outside.
Just before going out Ao looked sideways and saw Luffy getting off the chair he was sitting on and going over to the corner of the room.
'Its finally happening huh, Well Step 3: Completed, Makes sure Luffy get the Gomu Gomu no mi and Get shanks' respect' Ao thought as he exited the bar.
'Stupid shanks. Oh a chest, I bet he has some cool treasure from his last expedition.' Luffy thought as he looked at the chest lying soundly on the corner of the room.
Without thinking, He opened the chest and started eating a fruit that was inside.
"Yuck!" He said taking out a bite out of the fruit.
