"W-What!!" Ao said with surprise as a strange animal, His body was held by a creature almost trice his size, it's large antlers and sharp teeth giving it a menacing look, it's grey eyes shone in the sunlight as saliva in its mouth dropped into Ao's chest.
"Shit! Soru." He said quickly as he kicked the ground multiple times, A flash of blue appeared below the wolf as Ao appeared near the kid that was previously getting chased by the wolves. The kid had tears and was surprised at the sudden appearance of the other person near him.
"A devil fruit User, Kid! Hide behind that tree." Ao instructed Luffy, Luffy was speechless and looked like he had just shit his pants from fear. The kid didn't respond for a second. The kid had tears dripping down his face and was forming a frown, Ao sighed.
"I thowut I wa going to di, Aigat- (I thought I was going to die, Arigato)."
"Don't Stand there, GO!" Ao said, interrupting the kid that was crying comically in a one piece fashion, the boy ran away as instructed and hid behind a tree.
"It hurts like shit." Ao said as he looked at the position he was previously in. The moose Wolf was now looking at where he was currently standing. He looked at the human In front of himself, Standing there menacingly. The wolves around him Showed their large teeth to Ao, Trying to scare him by snarling.
Ao gripped the hook tightly in his hands and winced as he felt the large wound on his shoulder. He was losing blood, and very fast as well, According to his estimation, if he doesn't finish all of their wolves within ten minutes then it is certain death for him. Where are Axe and Sabo When he needs them? Was the thought in his mind.
The Alpha of the pack, The moose Wolf, Rubbed it's front feet in the ground like a bull, just before his body bulked up and he ran at Ao at neck breaking speeds.
Ao looked at the Alpha in surprise, who would have thought an Unintelligent creature when compared to humans like a wolf would be able to come up with a technique like this.
'I cannot dodge this, I have a colldown on my soru, I can only block the strike and parry it.' Ao thought as he put the rod In front of himself, He wasn't proficient in haki or anything so the only way for him to counter and parry the wolf's attack is to over power it with his brute strength.
Ao flexed his muscles, making a few muscles on his hands to get larger, The Wolf tried to bite Ao but it was blocked by the Rod in Ao's enlarged hand, With difficulty. The rod was starting to get bent by the sheer force of the Wolf's attack but Ao shifted his left hand to the right side of the rod, the wolf's mouth slid off the rod, Subsequently causing a part of it's mouth to be hooked.
Ao smirked as he pulled the rod towards the direction of the Devilfruit using wolf, The rod got imbedded into a part of the Wolf's jaw. The wolf trashed around trying to get rid of the hook but with no avail as Ao held it down, As a final effort, it used it's paw to strike Ao, Ao didn't see it comming and was struck with the paw of the wolf, Creating four gashes across his chest and sending Ao flying a few meters. Blood dripped from out of the scars as Ao collapsed on the ground.
The wolf pack turned to Ao, Laying flat on the ground on his back, his eyes getting dimmer and dimmer. The Wolf-Moose looked at Ao, Its mouth was torn apart and the Hook still stuck to its skull.
'Is this it..? A-Am I...'
Luffy watched with horror as the one who tried saving him, layed flat on the ground with four horizontal slashes across his chest, each gash going an inch deep, Exposing the ribs underneath.
Ao looked at the sky, many thoughts running through his head and his vision dimming by the second, He couldn't hear the growl of the wolves, He couldn't hear the shaking of trees and Wolves, Just His voice in his head.
'... Am I going to Die?..'
