Both were good things and meant well.

He had known that if he had not agreed to Yilena's madness, this wouldn't have happened.
His Erasthai wouldn't have felt so defeated over and over again.
Perhaps that was why, as he sat there, with Kosta staring at him like the world was in his eyes, Tamiko vowed to protect what they had. To make sure there was never someone to come between them, regardless of what was to happen.
Of course, there was the Grealor case that had been set aside for the past ten years. But it was long overdue, and Tamiko wanted Kosta to decide. Or maybe he was pressing a little too much, wasn't he?
