Not long after lighting the incense stick, Li Tianyi woke up.
Seeing Ling Can, he was shocked: "Ling Can?"
"Tianyi, it's been a while." Ling Can smiled slowly.
Li Tianyi tried to move, only to find himself tied up. His heart sank, realizing he was in danger. He asked, "Did you have me kidnapped? Why?"
"I didn't want it to be like this either. But there was no better way." Ling Can sighed, stepping forward to untie Li Tianyi's hands, "I just wanted you to help me with something."
Li Tianyi angrily stood up, flexing his wrists: "Is this how you ask for help? Ah Ning was right about you, you're up to no good!"
Ling Can's face changed: "What else did she say?"
Li Tianyi realized he misspoke and started rambling: "She told me not to hang out with you; people who play with incense are charming but not loyal. You'll lead me astray."
"Hehe..." Ling Can laughed, "You're both wrong; those who play with incense are more faithful."
