The entire banquet hall was set up as a birthday party, but only Gu Zhiwei and Lance were there.
"A wealthy family is indeed a wealthy family," Gu Zhiwei said.
She had never celebrated a birthday, let alone one so luxurious.
"My sister made it too formal, I'm not used to it either," Lance smiled, "Weiwei, when September comes, I'll celebrate your birthday for you."
Gu Zhiwei's heart fluttered for a moment, then she quickly shook her head, "I'm already a mother, what's there to celebrate?"
"By that logic, I'm the father," Lance looked at Gu Zhiwei with a warm smile, his blue eyes full of affection.
Gu Zhiwei: "..."
That made sense, she couldn't argue.
Just then, a server brought over a cake. It wasn't big, only 4 inches, decorated with flowers around it, with a heart drawn in red in the center. Lance pushed the cake in front of Gu Zhiwei, "Giving you my heart."
"Not interested," Gu Zhiwei snorted, but her eyes stayed enviously on the cake.
