Some children were building a snowman on the road when they saw someone approaching. A seven or eight-year-old kid ran over and asked, "Big sister, can you help us with something?"
Fu Xue stopped in her tracks, "How can I help?"
"We want to pick a plum blossom and stick it on the snowman."
Fu Xue looked at the plum trees by the road and frowned, "The flowers look so nice on the tree."
"But, the snowman needs decoration," the child said distressedly. "It wasn't easy to build a big snowman!"
Fu Xue thought for a moment, took off her scarf, and handed it to the child, "Use this."
"Thank you, big sister."
The child happily wrapped the scarf around the snowman, and Fu Xue watched them play, a smile spreading across her face.
The wind blew gently, carrying the chill of snow with it. Fu Xue shivered and continued on her way.
She didn't see Doctor Zhu replace her scarf with his own, tucking it into his coat like a treasured possession...
