Dean had already brought Anbei to the underground section of the safe house. It was quite simple but still concealed and quiet.
Dean skillfully searched Anbei, thoroughly patting him down and removing all his concealed weapons. He stopped just short of prying open Anbei's guts to check if he'd smuggled anything inside before meticulously examining his injuries.
After a moment, he shrugged. "You're really quite lucky. Your rib is likely just fractured, not broken. With proper stabilization, you should regain a good degree of mobility."
"Then I really have to thank you!" Anbei closed his eyes, letting Dean tend to him as he wished.
He wasn't sure if it was his imagination. It had been a while since they last met, and he felt that the current Dean was much more terrifying than before.
