Upon hearing their daughter's words, the Judge's Wife and her husband exchanged a glance, seeing confusion in each other's eyes.
How could someone who isn't dead come to this Land of Underworld?
Only the dead can come to this Land of Underworld; this is common knowledge in Japan.
On this Japan, the regular gateways between the underworld and the Mortal Realm have been blocked, so unlike the outside world, if you want to visit the Underworld, you can simply walk through the main gate, as long as you can convince the gate guards, you can go on an Underworld tour.
Unfortunately, such a method is no longer feasible in Japan, so if Japanese Witches want to enter the underworld, there are only two other ways.
The first way is death. After a witch dies, her soul will automatically trigger the mechanism of the Underworld and be directly drawn into it. This is an inherent authority of the Underworld institutions, naturally not something a mere Izanagi could block.
