Third person POV
Along the way to where Guren and the other IDA soldiers were held hostage by Crowley, Horn, Chess, and the other vampires, Shinya received word from the other IDA soldiers regarding the death of Aiko almost 3 hours ago. Shinya was shocked and saddened by it and relayed that to Yuichiro, Atsushi, and others.
"Wow..." Atsushi felt bad.
Mitsuba teared up a bit.
"I'm sorry, but there's nothing we can do about it," Shinya calmly replied.
Atsushi felt bad, too, but in his mind, he knew that he was better off in the RSA.
"Yes," Saya within him said, "you were lucky to get out of the IDA."
But all of them have no idea that Aiko was on her way, evolved and now on the side of the RSA.
And then, they arrived at Crowley's lair in the office of the mayor, and Crowley and the other vampires. Horn had just finished one tied up IDA soldier, much to Guren's horror.
"No!" Guren screamed while struggling in the tight ropes.
Horn and the other vampires laughed at his suffering.
Meanwhile, René and Lacus and their rogue vampire group came in and used their aristocratic moves to distract Crowley and the other vampires with conversations. While Atsushi and his group were in high alert, René looked at them in the most non-hostile look possible. And then, much to the confusion of Yuichiro and Atsushi, René made a secret gesture to them and others to attack Crowley and the others now. Despite being confused that shout "What the flip?", Atsushi and his group did so, and Crowley and his group got caught by surprise. Now, it was René's turn to attack Crowley, Chess, Horn, and their vampire soldiers with his rogue vampires. Atsushis' aura saw the aura of Crowley's vampires and attacked with advantage, while Myeong's wind magic swept a handful from the floor, and Shinoa and Yoichi finished them off.
"What the...?" Chess was caught off guard by Lacus's sword.
And then, while the others parry with Crowley and his vampire group, Yuichiro and Shinya managed to untie Guren from the chair, and Myeong and the rest of the Shinoa and Narumi squads did the same on the remaining tied up IDA soldiers.
"W-What is this?!" Horn hissed at the calm and cold René.
"I'm tired now…" René pointed his sword at him, "…all this political business in the Vampire Council made me dull. I'll rather spend my remaining centuries in a peaceful, neutral domain, and, I had gotten along with the RSA, too. So, begone."
He then stabbed Horn off, and Kimizuki finished the rest while being astonished internally on René's leniency.
By now, Chess was about to unleash his attack on Atsushi and the others when a Sakura-laced arrow shot into the scene and struck Chess hard. Aiko and a squad of 2 RSA soldiers came in for the aid.
Shinya was shocked that Aiko was still alive and is now donning the RSA attire.
"What...?" Shinya's eye couldn't believe it.
Luckily for Aiko, Guren was unconscious, so he wouldn't see her alive, yet Aiko said to Shinya and Yuichiro, "Get his body out of this place, now!"
Without hesitation, Yuichiro and Shinya did so, with the Shinoa and Narumi squads trailing behind them.
Mikaela and Basuki came in, and by that time, only Crowley and 3 of his vampire soldiers remained. Yet, despite what René and his group done to the Vampire Council, Crowley just decided to let them go and said, "Do what you want to do in life."
He then looked at Mikaela. "Your tales of spirit blood is amazing. Go on and live your best life out there. Plus, perhaps reunite with that hot-headed human, too."
By that, Crowley and his vampires retreated.
Mikaela, René, and the other vampires in their side were confused but accepted it and left off with Basuki.
The rescue mission of Guren and his squad was successful.
Mikaela was more than eager to reunite with Yuichiro in the IDA post in Nagoya City.
