Skating across a frozen lake Adrian was having the time of his life, he didn't even notice when the ice started cracking
The longer he was skating the more cracks appeared on the ice, he really should have been more careful
As he was skating one of the metal blades on his ice skates got caught on a particularly large crack making him fall
As he was falling he finally saw how cracked the ice was, panicking he tried to catch himself, putting his hands on the ice, but he came down with far too much force for the ice to bear, his hands crashing through the ice and soon enough his body also fell through the ice, sinking into the freezing water he tried to swim up but his limbs were uncooperative in his endeavors
Soon enough his lungs were filled with the freezing water, unable to breathe, he sinks to the bottom of the lake

Once he died and woke up he found himself on a bridge of light, in front of him were many balls of light, he tried to speak, but he couldn't muster any words out
He soon realizes that he was also a ball of light and the only thing he could do is wait
1 day later he was nearing the front of the line, now being able to see a gigantic winged creature of light
Adrian doesn't pay much attention until he's at the front of the line, listening to the creature speak
L■■■■■■: "congratulations, you died, usually i would make you reincarnate as anything whenever, but you are the 7 quintillionth being to die so i will give you access to 2 wishes and at least human intellect."
Adrian: "that's... that many people that have died?"
L■■■■■■: "beings, multicellular organisms."
Adrian: "oh, that clears things up. Could i choose the world?"
L■■■■■■: "yes, you can think as long as you like too, so go ahead."
Adrian: "I'd like to be reborn in dragon ball."
L■■■■■■: "not reincarnated? Intresting"
Adrian: "I'd rather be have the time to grow into my body."
L■■■■■■: "fair enough, what is your first wish?"
Adrian: "so... can I change my race to an ancient saiyan?"
L■■■■■■: "hm... and you're aware of what that entails?"
Adrian: "no, I just thought of cumber and how strong he was"
L■■■■■■: "well, then I'll inform you of the intricacies. There are two kinds of ancient saiyans, the more peaceful ki based saiyans and the more brutish strength based saiyans, both of them are incredibly powerful but you do need to specify"
Adrian: "could you give me more information on the types, I just want to know everything before choosing"
L■■■■■■: "the ki based saiyans are generally more intelligent than the average saiyan and have a much easier time with ki usage, but their bodies are relatively weaker than the average saiyan."
L■■■■■■: "the strength based saiyans are generally less intelligent, being more reliant on their instincts but also keep a logical mind, they are talented with ki but doing things outside of their bodies with ki is quite hard for them, their bodies are much stronger than the average saiyan's as well, though their Transformations are slightly different and require more power to utilize them."
Adrian: "thank you, I guess i'll pick the more strength based ones since i like that more."
L■■■■■■: "noted, what is your 2nd wish?"
Adrian floated there thinking it over for a while
A day of long contemplation later he finally thought of what he would wish for
Adrian: "could I wish for a system guide?"
L■■■■■■: "yes, just specify what features it should have."
Adrian: "I want to be able to check my status with it, I want to see what I have learned, and what Transformations I have."
L■■■■■■: "that's all? Good choice, your wishes are granted"
A door appears in front of Adrian
L■■■■■■: "enter to finalize the process and get reborn."
Adrian: "thank you"
L■■■■■■: "you're welcome"
Adrian opened the door and walked in
