The Southern Branch Mountains ahead seemed like towering city walls piercing the clouds. Even from here at the gateway, without having entered yet, Fisher and Emhardt both saw that these naturally gigantic mountains remained an excellent strategic location. No wonder it could serve as the chasm that always kept the Red Dragon Court at odds with the Green Dragon Court.
Emhardt floated beside Fisher, inquiring about his next move. Fisher clearly had no intention to wait any longer; he just wanted to quickly go in and find traces of Rafael.
"Looking at the situation outside, it seems the Green Dragon Court and the Red Dragon Court haven't had a large-scale direct conflict for a while. Grass has already grown in the trenches and remnants of the battlefield; a few months, half a year? But inside the mountains, who knows, maybe the Green Dragon Court has always been infiltrating there?"
Emhardt glanced at the situation beyond the mountains and said this to Fisher.
