With a crisp cracking sound seemingly coming from within, Fisher suddenly felt as if he was inside a rapidly spinning drum, swept away to an unknown place. Everything around him, space and even time, were rapidly retreating, except for the gaze that should have been terrifying but strangely felt gentle and friendly, always watching him.
"Fisher ah ah ah ah ah!"
Beside him, Emhardt's signature duck-like scream sounded as if it were malfunctioning, as if distorted by some strange medium, entering Fisher's ears.
Yet Fisher himself could hardly take care of himself. He felt that his body no longer belonged to him, and could only focus on the dizzying stream of light before his eyes.
He tightly grabbed Emhardt beside him, with only one thought in his mind:
