When Fisher returned to the hotel from outside, he happened to run into Pahetz and the crew returning as well. Many sailors, upon seeing Fisher, grinned and greeted him in a way that was oddly polite and flirtatious, making Fisher increasingly suspicious that they might have heard some noises coming from his room during the afternoon.
Fisher turned to ask Emhardt, only to see him rolling his eyes with a look that screamed, "I don't even want to comment."
"I didn't hear any noise, it's just that you guys were almost shaking the bed apart! I had to run out of the corridor because I couldn't bear listening anymore, and that silly Grey Bird Species just stood at the door listening away… I really don't get it..."

Fisher went silent for a second, suddenly feeling a twinge of regret. Had he known, he would've been more restrained.
