Chapter 111 - BACHELOR'S PARTY

Abhi: (Startled)

"Whoa! Can you not stand outside like ghosts?!"

Mark: (Crossing his arms, smirking)

"You could've worn clothes, Romeo."

Khushi: "Seriously, is this how you thank your in-laws for not yelling your name through the house?"

Abhi: (Muttering)

"Ugh. What do you two want?"

Mark: (Leaning against the wall)

"We wanted to give you a heads-up before the rest of the house starts a marriage parade in your honor."

Khushi: "Yeah. You know… the photo."

Abhi: (Sighs, running a hand through his hair)

"Great. So it's already on display?"

Khushi: "Front wall. Gold frame. Center stage."

Abhi: "Gold frame?!"

Mark: "Okay, not gold—but they printed it big. Looked like a wedding invite prototype."

(Meanwhile, Ishana's in her room, just finished changing after the shower. She's stretching when she hears a knock—sharp, urgent.)

Ishana: "Coming!"

(I swings the door open and sees sis.)

Khushi: "They've seen the photo. Everyone. And now your mom talking about the wedding."

Ishana:"What?! But it was just a kiss!"

Khushi: "A kiss in the rain. On a terrace. Caught on camera. Posted in the family group. Do the math."

Ishana:"God, just bury me already."

(Back in the living room...)

The family chatter grows louder as they keep glancing at the photo on the wall—Abhi and Ishana, caught in a moment of pure emotion, standing close in the rain, lips touching, soaked clothes clinging to them. Romantic. Scandalous. Unavoidable.

Marks mom: "These two clearly have feelings. Just finish the wedding! Why delay?"

Ishana's father: "I told you—let love bloom on its own. But now they've already bloomed, shower and all."

(Just then, Abhi and Ishana are reluctantly pushed out of their rooms by Mark and Khushi. They enter the living room, trying not to make eye contact with anyone. The second they do, chaos begins.)

Yash: "There they are! Our rainy romance royals!"

Marks mom: "Beta, we've never had a photo like that in this family before. Bold! Beautiful! Passion!"

Ishana: (Glaring at Abhi)

"This is your fault."

Abhi: "Mine?! I didn't send the picture!"

Mark: (Clears throat behind them)

"That… would technically be me. Accidental send."

Ishana: "You're dead to me, bhaiya."

Mark: (Grinning)

"You're welcome."

Abhi: (Crossing his arms)

"Well, since we're already framed like an art exhibit, should I start calling you 'Mrs. Happiest Mistake' in public?"

Ishana: "Call me that again and I'll happily make your life the biggest regret of mine."

Khushi: (To Mark, whispering)

"They flirt like war generals."

Mark: "And they're somehow still more compatible than half the couples I know."

(Suddenly, the elders speak up again...)

Khushi: "This is a sign from the universe. There should be an bachelor's party how could a wedding can happen without it!"

Ishana: (Eyes widening)

"This weekend?! That's suicide!"

Abhi: (Quietly)

"Could be fun. I mean... " You can have a rest without me!

Ishana: (Turning to him)

"Great not bad ."

Abhi:" Huh!."

Mark: (Interrupting with a dramatic clap)

"Well, that's settled! Everyone get your outfits ready—we are having a bachelor's party abhi and ishana friends contacted me to move up there wedding date so they can have bachelor's party and i thought yeh it is really important....but I'm not joining you guys neither any other family members its just you guys and your friends and seperate destination "

Ishana: (Grabs Abhi's wrist and pulls him aside)

(Whispering fiercely) "You better fix this. I'm not going anywhere "

Abhi: (Leaning in, whispering back)

"I already did, remember? Fuse box? No one saw us sneak in. It's not my fault Mark's photo skills are Oscar-worthy. His creativity as well "

Ishana: (Sighs)

"Just don't fall in love with me completely before this wedding, okay?"

Abhi: (Grinning)

"Too late."

(As the family breaks into laughter and wedding talk, Ishana stands quietly for a moment, her eyes meeting Abhi's. There's heat, embarrassment, sarcasm… and something else. Something unspoken.)

(She looks away quickly.)

Ishana: (To herself)

(What the hell is happening to me…?)
