Chapter 46 - STAY FOR FEW MORE MIN

Ishana (smirking):

You'll find out soon. Just wait and see what happens to you.

(She says it almost teasingly, but there's an underlying sadness in her voice.)

Ishana (under her breath):

I hope you make it out alive.

Anyway, it's your bad luck to meet me, and from the moment I saw you, I already knew it wouldn't end well... but I gave you hope anyway — by staring at you.

Abhi (looking frustrated but softening a little):

I don't want to argue about this anymore.

(He leans forward, voice earnest.)

Please... just like me back. I don't care what the future holds. I just want to be happy in this moment.

Ishana (raising an eyebrow, leaning back in her chair):

Who started it?

Abhi (sighing deeply, running a hand through his hair):

I get it. I'm the one who started it, and I'll be the one to end it.

Ishana (mocking):

Sure, you can... as if I even want to argue with you.

(The tension is thick, and just as things seem about to escalate, the door to the cabin opens abruptly.)

Nurse (entering without knocking):

Excuse me, sir, would you like to join me for lunch?

Abhi (startled, irritated):

Wait — why didn't you knock?

Nurse (flustered, stepping back):

I... I thought you'd be alone, sir.

Abhi (coldly):

So what if I'm alone?

(His voice sharpens.)

Remember your basic manners.

Ishana (intervening quickly):

Hey, cool it. It was just a mistake. Anyone can do that.

Nurse (nervously):

I'm sorry, sir. It won't happen again!

Abhi (abruptly):

Fine, you can leave now.

(The nurse leaves, visibly uncomfortable. The door shuts softly behind her.)

Ishana (raising an eyebrow, her voice quiet):

What was that? Why did you shout at her? You were annoyed by me, so don't drag her into this. You could've just said it directly to me.

Abhi (softly, his frustration still lingering but trying to calm down):

No, Ishana... I wasn't annoyed at all.

Ishana (crossing her arms, unimpressed):

Then have lunch.

Abhi (reluctantly, still avoiding her eyes):

Hmm.

(Suddenly, there's a knock on the door. Abhi looks at it, clearly exasperated.)

Abhi (irritated, speaking to the door):

Now what?

Nurse (from outside, a little more tentative this time):

Sir, your patient is here.

Abhi (rubbing his forehead, sighing deeply):

Tell them to wait for 10 more minutes.

Nurse (softly, with a touch of concern):

Okay, sir.

(The sound of footsteps fading signals the nurse leaving. Ishana stands up, picking up her things.)

Ishana (with a sly smile):

The rest of the pizza is yours, then. I'm leaving.

Abhi (reacting quickly, before she can go):

No, wait.

(He reaches out, grabbing her hand gently and pulling her back toward him.)

Abhi (looking up at her, his voice softer now):

Don't leave.

Ishana (raising an eyebrow, trying to pull away):

Why? Lunch time is over, and I'm just an intern here... not like you.

Abhi (not letting go, persistent):

I'll explain to your senior. Stay for a few more minutes.

Ishana (stubbornly):

But why? Aren't you annoyed by me?

Abhi (grinning now, teasing her):

Nope. How could my sweet heart annoy me?

If it's annoying, then I'll gladly be annoyed by you for the rest of my life.

Ishana (mock horror, shaking her head):

From where do you bring these cheesy lines?

Abhi (grinning widely, his eyes twinkling):

You know what? Before meeting you, I didn't know a single one of these lines.

But after meeting you... it just comes out naturally when I see you.

Ishana (laughing, incredulously):

Amazing... I can't believe this!

(Pauses for a second, then grins mischievously)

You know what? If I flirt back with you, you won't be able to handle it.

Abhi (leaning forward, amused):

Oh really?

I'm very confident I can handle whatever you throw at me. Go on — show me.
