Theodore consulted with his friend, Elmer. The latter contemplated the issue for a while before coming up with a solution.
"It'd be risky to run away from all those grand elders while carrying and protecting a burden."
Theodore didn't think it was wrong to call Ken a burden. The kid wouldn't be able to pull his own weight in a fight among eighth-stage cultivators. "Indeed, that's why I'm not sure what we can do about it."
