This is the era of hunters. It was quiet till an incident happened in India, a weird circle appeared out of nowhere in the middle of a traffic road at noon, and everyone was taking pictures of the circle, it was like a void and it was shining like a moon. every person was witnessing the magnificent circle, it was like a gift from the gods. people thought it would disappear at any time so they started to take and share the pictures with their friends, family, and loved ones.
So many people started to visit the circle on that day. After that circle appeared, the police took control and blocked the road they didn't allow anyone to approach the circle, and people started to leave the place, and the road was cleared, but to everyone's surprise, the circle didn't disappear the next day, and like that, for weeks.
India became a hot tourist spot in the world. Everyone started to gather near the circle and admire the divine beauty of the circle. It was quiet till the 4th week of the month. after the 4th week of the month-
The incident occurred, weird creatures started to appear out of the circle and they were rampaging slaughtering humans like pigs, and the Indian government took action with the help of the army, and they killed all the creatures. But until then lakhs of people died, and India lost most of its population.
And after a few days, the next circle appeared in Japan and exactly after 4 weeks the monsters started rampaging. and this incident happened for a few years, and millions of people died on earth the countries united together and started to help each other. the government named the circles {portals}.
After a few years, people started to awaken supernatural powers and without any help from modern machinery, they started to kill monsters. and these awakeners are called "hunters". And soon hunters were deeply respected in society because they were the core members to save humanity.
One day a news channel named dark moon requested all the hunters for a live telecast, to ask them what was the mystery behind their power, will the power only exist till they live on the planet.
The hunter's leader "LEO"[strongest hunter] said that inside every person there is a thing called "spirit"-
There are seven types of spirits-
1) Below-low-rank spirits [D-RANK]
2) Low-rank spirits [C-RANK]
3) Mid-rank spirits [B-RANK]
4)Above mid-rank spirits[A-RANK]
5)Silver rank spirits [S-RANK]
6)Gold rank spirits [SS-RANK]
7)Platinum rank spirits [SUPREM-RANK].
Each spirit has its own abilities. As the host rank up his abilities also increases. And the spirit can also evolve stages depending on the host. And people who awaken before the age of twenty are considered genius.
And the strongest hunter in existence "LEO" got a B-rank spirit at the age of twenty and evolved to ss-rank at age of 65. He has 126 abilities [KNOWN].
His four best abilities were -
1) Can control people's mind.
2)Can control any object which consists of water [HE CAN ALSO CONTROL BLOOD OF HIS ENEMY].
3)Can summon creatures.
4)Dark magic.
And after some years people started to awaken their spirits.
{NOTE- It is not easy to awaken a spirit you need the exact resource and surrounding nature to awaken a spirit.}
And this continued till the 100's for years. HUNTERS WERE DEEPLY RESPECTED IN SOCIETY.
YEAR 3012,
My name is Daniel, and I am not a hunter yet. my goal is to become the best hunter in the world like "Leo the Legend". I am an orphan, I don't have any relatives because I only have memories from age 9, I don't remember who I was before age 9.
The sister who takes care of me in the orphanage said that at age 9 they found my body in the junkyard I was heavily injured. I was on the verge of between life and death, and after they treated me I was in a coma for two years. An S-rank healer cured me to increase her fame.
So I got shifted to an orphanage at age of ten. A grandma took me in her care for 5 years and passed away, her last words for me was not to become a hunter, because her husband and her son lost their life after awakening as a hunter. She told me to live a normal life and be happy. I thought to respect her last words and stopped dreaming of becoming a hunter.
But One day after middle school a monster hunted me down it was low-tier but I still could not defend myself. A guy tried to help me but he died. That was the first time in my life I saw a person die in front of my eyes. I got really scared I thought that was my last day, but a hunter came and saved my life. I was happy for a moment but when I saw the family of the person who died protecting me, I felt guilty about his death.
At that moment I forgot my grandma's last wish and thought to become a hunter no matter what. From that day I asked every hunter for suggestions on how to awaken the spirit. I used every suggestion but I still did not awaken as a hunter. When I was 16yrs the "spirit detector" machine was invented. It says what type of spirit you have, how it can be awakened, and what are its abilities.[it was $200 per try] When it was my chance, the AI said my spirit was dead, and I can't become a hunter for the rest of my life. This is a common case as one spirit can only be in one body if the spirit is dead then he can't become a hunter for the rest of his life. Poor me, I was also one of them.
I was so sad and I gave up on awakening as a hunter. I started to live a normal life. AT THE AGE OF 17 I became a high schooler. However when I quit awakening as a hunter. I studied so hard in my middle I got good results and I entered a top-grade high school on a scholarship.[I am a very poor person. all my part-time job income goes for the rent and food, I can't afford the fee for high school, and my grandma's life insurance I wanted to use that money for my university. so I studied hard and got a top score in my middle school, to enter a top-grade high school for less fee.
Right now my goal was to become an accountant in the first-grade hunter guild. My first day in high school was horrible. I came to the high school on my old bicycle which grandma gifted to me on my 15th birthday. And the students in that high school were very rich they drove Mercedes, Benz, and whatever CAR. I could see all the top-notch cars near the parking area. when I parked my old bicycle between those top-notch cars.
The spoiled rich kids gave an eye-sore look. It was like "Why did a beggar come to our school" Well I was used to stuff like that. But to my surprise there was another bicycle it was not as old as my bicycle but it was a bicycle. I was so surprised to see who that person was.
When I turned around to search for the person, a girl approached me with excitement on her face.
"Hi, my name is Elena, is that bicycle yours," the girl said pointing to my bicycle.
It was my first time talking to a girl, and that girl was beautiful and was so close to me that I was completely flustered
"y..yeah, my name is Daniel nice to meet you," I said.
Elena:- [smiling]Is this your first time talking to a girl".
Me:- YES!![BLUSH], NO I mean no, no.
Elena:- HAHA[laughs] I think it's your first time, thank god I saw your bicycle or else I was going to die in this rich kids' den, now I am not alone anymore.
Me:- same here [BLUSH].
Elena:- then let's be friends Daniel.
And like that, I got the first friend in my life. After hearing her story, it was not the same as mine but not different too. her whole family is hunters but they died, only her father and mother were alive and her goal was of becoming a hunter.
After I became friends with Elena it felt nice to go to school. I thought it would be hard for me but it was not.
2 MONTHS PASSED AWAY
There was a basketball competition at our school. everyone was forced to watch the match. I was sitting beside Elena and watching the match with her. then everyone started to cheer for a certain person while he entered the ground.
I turned around to look who he was it was a guy named "Logan", he was 6ft tall, handsome, and had a muscular body and he was the student council president, he is damn rich like he can buy any car he want. he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he was an idol of girls.
"If I would be him" I uttered those words without even knowing, and Elena heard me. I was so embarrassed that she could think of me as a creep. I looked at her embarrassingly.
"I don't like guys like him, I would prefer you instead of him". she said while blushing.
It was my first time hearing that from a girl's mouth, did she just propose to me?
"Elena I didn't get what you-
"I LOVE YOU, Daniel," she said and blushed completely.
I was so flustered I didn't know she used to have feelings for me, she was very kind to me and she is a nice girl. and I used to have feelings for her too. so I accepted her love. and she became my first love.
