The rain began to fall more heavily, drenching the bloody ground as a breeze stirred the environment. Two people stood a few meters apart, staring only at each other, oblivious of the world around them.
Eve's brown eyes widened as she observed Sebastian's figure, resisting the pull she felt towards him. It was as if she was trying not to believe, only to be disappointed in the end when she discovered it was just a figment of her imagination. Sebastian finally moved from the tree, and when Eve saw the raindrops on his face, her eyes widened further and she broke down.
"Seb.... Sebastian," His name choked in her throat as she sobbed and ran towards him in the rain.
Sebastian's arms were wide open, a bright smile on his face as he prepared to embrace his wife. She threw herself at him so forcefully that they both ended up on the ground, rolling on the muddy floor into the small bushes. But Eve didn't let go of Sebastian's neck as she buried herself in his chest and cried.
