Zeyn didn't answer right away. He studied her in silence, his gaze unusually serious.
She didn't even waver. If anything, she only grew steadier, silently telling him she was ready to move forward.
"…Every esper has at least one unique ability," he said at last. "Do you think you're ready?"
"Doubt isn't an option anymore," Airi replied. "But I still don't know what kind of ability you're talking about. What can I actually do?"
The question made Zeyn's eyes narrow slightly.
