"Then kill me," Ju Jingyan said simply. His face was calm, almost empty, but the sorrow in his eyes ran deep. "Take my things, take my life. As long as you destroy the Yang Clan, I'll die content."
Lu Yi hesitated. The man's calm acceptance of death caught him off guard—it almost stirred something in him.
"Take them." Ju Jingyan held out the jade slips and ring with both hands. "Wipe out the Yang Clan and let me rest."
