A blood-bathed landscape under crimson skies began to clear, allowing the sun's rays to shine down upon the corpses, frightening the majority of the battle-hardened soldiers.
What had unfolded before their eyes was some of, perhaps even the most, inhumane and gruesome acts of violence. For a Granian to be mortified over gruesome deaths was something since they, along with a few other species, were the most gruesome when it came to taking lives.
This, however, topped it all off. Saying they were mortified would be an understatement. The Granians, along with their allies the Cyclitharans, had just witnessed a single human take down more than half of an Ethisian army by themselves, a feat that only the Lords and god-tier Eneraflux users could achieve. Even among those, only two had ever done so and lived to tell the tale.
