"Thank you," Si Chenli said and unceremoniously took his seat at the table.
Everyone at the table couldn't help but sigh, unable to see that Mr. Si was such a hopeless romantic.
"Speaking of which, where's Si Jing? The kid's been upstairs for ages; why isn't he coming down? You all start eating; I'll go check on him," Mrs. Si had just picked up a chopstick of food but hadn't yet eaten when she realized someone was missing from the dining table.
