"Is it too hot? Then I'll turn on the air conditioning," Sang Siyang chuckled lightly, saying this, but he still had no intention of getting up to turn it on.
He couldn't have been clearer that the temperature was not hot at all. Nianzhi said so because she felt uncomfortable.
"Forget it, forget it, it'll be fine in a bit, it's not hot," Fang Nianzhi buried her head further into the blanket, feeling embarrassed. It was the dead of winter, and she was talking about being hot.
Luckily, the man behind her did not mock her, only maintaining silence.
This eased her embarrassment somewhat, and she quickly diverted her attention back to her phone, seriously engrossed in reading her novel, wholly immersed in the plot.
When she became sleepy, she put down her phone to sleep, while the big palms that she wanted to escape from never left.
"Are you asleep?" Fang Nianzhi asked softly, afraid she might wake him if he was already sleeping.
