He tucked the cigarette behind his ear and rubbed his temple, his gaze inadvertently meeting Bo Yanching's eyes from the opposite sofa.
"What are you looking at?"
Bo Yanching replied truthfully, "Nothing, just watching a joke."
"Huh," Yaen Chi lifted his foot against the edge of the coffee table, "You picking on me now? Were you annoyed by how much I watched your jokes the past two months?"
Bo Yanching raised an eyebrow, "So now it's your turn."
Yaen Chi gritted his teeth, "Brother Yan, you'll get what's coming to you."
Bo Yanching was entirely unfazed, "Well, I'll be careful then, because I'm faithful, so fate treats me generously."
Who's he calling unfaithful!
Yaen Chi suddenly felt unmotivated; whether he wins or loses, he feels upset. Why bother competing in wordplay with a sharp-tongued person and deliberately frustrate himself?
Yin Tao sat quietly, almost like she was invisible in the two-seater sofa by herself.
