Lady Winter's icy glare slowly melted, but she kept staring at her troublemaker son, wondering if he was up to something evil again. The way he closed his eyes and sighed heavily kept her at ease, making her believe Yael's guess.
"Yes, it must be the bond," Zayden murmured, running his fingers through his hair. Taking the glass Yael cautiously offered, he gulped down the water to quench his anger. Why the heck was he getting so worked up?! He wondered in frustration and threw a glare at his annoying brother. Xavier was intentionally flaring him up! He knew him all too well.
"Then try to control it for a few hours," Xavier stated, his commanding voice making Zayden clench his fist. "You will finally be free from it and also from her." His brother ended with a small smile that urged Zayden to punch his face.
