Jirawut steps inside the village and waits for Thyra.
"You are so brave," Thyra said. "I am proud of you."
"It is nothing. I should be grateful to you." Jirawut answered.
Thyra smiled at him. "I know. You don't need to pretend."
"Can we talk? Just us?" He asked her.
Her eyes shone. She nodded.
They walked down the main road and got behind the people.
"I will build a kingdom, and I want you to join my family."
Thyra stopped walking for a moment, stunned by Jirawut's bold declaration. The wind tugged gently at the ends of her cloak, and the faint sound of voices from the market drifted in the distance. She turned to face him fully, her dark eyes searching his face.
"You want to marry me?" she asked softly, her voice nearly carried away by the breeze.
