SYNOPSIS:In a DC Universe Earth-3 where heroes are villains and villains are heroes, an ordinary person suddenly wakes up as Ultraman. Ultraman originally thought he would be in Metropolis, as a god among men, maintaining the most basic order of the city, and trying to lead the entire Earth-3 to escape its impending destruction. He assumes he's alone in this task just one man, doing his best to hold back apocalypse after apocalypse. Then, without warning, a mysterious chat group appears in his vision. Mami Tomoe: "Thank you, Superman. You brought us hope." LEGO Batman: "Superman, I am your Kryptonite!" Spider-Man (1994): "It's great to fight alongside you, Superman!" [Group Leader]: "It has to be Superman to save so many worlds..." One by one, heroes and oddities from a thousand different worlds pour their gratitude and camaraderie into the chat and he realizes he isn't fighting alone after all. Every one of them believes in the same symbol on his chest. As time passes by he quietly reshapes the U into an S and tells the assembled villains-turned-allies of worlds: "This isn't the letter S. It stands for hope." Having spent so long as an untouchable god among mortals, there are moments he almost envies the ordinary moments he wishes he could simply be the world's child of tomorrow rather than its last line of defense.
