Zhou Fan did not think for a single moment as he grabbed The Painter by the neck and dug his fingers into his spine.
The Painter opened his mouth in shock, but no sound came out. Zhou Fan forced him down and kneeled on top of him as he formed a knife, skinning the Painter alive in body and soul. He would regrow the skin of both the body and soul before doing it again.
The Painter wanted to scream, but Zhou Fan ripped his mouth off. When skinning The Painter's body did not appease his anger, Zhou Fan hung him up and began to slowly rip entire chunks of his body off one by one. His organs spilled out, but Zhou Fan shoved them back in again and again. He forced The Painter to eat his own organs, choking him as he struggled to breathe. He ripped out The Painter's eyes and implanted them into his skin, turning him into a monster of countless eyes. He ripped off The Painter's limbs and implanted them on other parts of his body, making him look nothing like a human in the slightest.
Over and over and over again, Zhou Fan destroyed The Painter's body in increasingly creative ways. Eventually, he supplied a steady stream of healing as he simply pummeled The Painter's body over and over and over and over again.
Zhou Fan hit so hard his hands repeatedly broke.
This still didn't appease his anger. He began to shout.
No words were spoken, just bestial screams. After an entire year, when The Painter did not even have the ability to beg for death any more, Zhou Fan put thousands of spikes into his body and kicked him away. He would never escape that confinement. Infinitely, he would suffer the fate of those spikes that's sole purpose was to make him feel pain until he was immune to it.
And when he could no longer feel the slightest hint of pain, he would die and be erased from existence.
Zhou Fan closed his eyes, releasing a single additional angry scream before his anger vanished. At that point, a tree wrapped around him and began to heal the injuries he had caused himself.
Only then did Zhou Fan regain a bit of sanity.
"Sorry about that." Zhou Fan said to Leaf.
Leaf shrugged. Zhou Fan turned and returned to the Multiverse. Although he had completely wiped it from existence, Leaf and Lu Jue had spent countless years reforming it from the bits and pieces drifting through the nothingness. It was half the size of before, but after they had finally closed it, officially reforming it, they were able to rewind time and revive most of the beings that had died. Around half were unrecoverable, but as most beings at the Immortal Lord realm had some emergency traces of themselves stashed around the Universe in the case of such a massive Multiversal calamity occurring, almost no beings at the Immortal Lord realm or higher were lost.
In addition, the Chaos Immortals were able to protect a few beings from being devoured. Lord Lu and Leaf had especially saved a bunch, including Hun Luan and his brother, Hun Wu.
They were the only two who had been able to slightly resist the power Zhou Fan had used when he destroyed the Multiverse.
When Zhou Fan returned, he could feel the Multiverse itself was very angry at him. It was to the point that it didn't want to be his point of origin anymore, which would effectively prevent him from finding it after he entered the nothingness.
But after a few apologies, the Multiverse couldn't help but forgive him.
The Multiverse had more or less returned to its previous state, the most noticeable missing being was the Painter.
With the Painter taken care of, Zhou Fan returned to his mansion.
Lord Lu and Hun Luan also returned.
"Moving on, you can take him away for now." Zhou Fan said.
Lu Jue nodded and left with Hun Luan.
Zhou Fan had noticed the way Hun Luan had looked at him had changed.
Before, Hun Luan had probably thought he was boasting a bit about his strength, but he could now entirely confirm that if Zhou Fan wanted the Multiverse gone, it would be erased from existence in the blink of an eye.
Hun Luan spent multiple Sage Years training with Lord Lu. Lord Lu taught him everything he could not only about combat, but about everything related to Cultivation.
"Do not worry about Zhou Fan's burst of anger. That is certainly the only time it will ever happen. I talked to plenty of beings, one even dating before Zhou Fan, and he has never reacted like that about anything before. He will surely not allow Leaf to ever be harmed again."
In the mansion, Zhou Fan handed Leaf an ornament. It hung from his branches, and it would change size with him.
"This can instantly transfer my power to you, so if you are ever attacked like that again, I'll be able to kill the attacker in an instant." Zhou Fan explained.
Leaf shook in understanding.
Just then, Zhou Fan sensed the Painter's life force finally disappear. He had suffered for a few hundred Sage Years extra after Zhou Fan was done with him.
"It is done."
Leaf shook again, expressing his understanding.
A few Sage Years later, Hun Luan appeared with Lord Lu.
"I have taught him everything I can, for a Universe Immortal at least. If you want me to guide him in the creation of his Immortal Domain, just let me know."
Zhou Fan nodded. "Alright. Thanks for the help."
Lord Lu nodded and left.
Hun Luan looked at Zhou Fan, unsure of what to say.
"Did I scare you? I didn't take you for a coward." Zhou Fan said.
Hun Luan snapped out of it. "I'm no coward. Just hesitant."
"Do I seem like an angry person?"
"No." Hun Luan answered.
"Then leave it at that. Think about it like this. If I wanted you dead, nobody could save you. So it's not worth worrying about."
For some reason, Hun Luan felt a bit better after hearing this.
