After hesitating, the God of Death spoke. "So what happens next?"
Ye Li spoke calmly. "The fish was the only non-participant that noticed the change. For the next million or so Sage Years, we will act as if nothing happened. Only after that amount of time will the next part commence."
The God of Death nodded and left.
Soon leaving as well were the 15 beings with strings sticking out of their necks left, all entering seclusion.
Only Ye Li remained on the spot. He twisted his hand, and the seal was hidden from sight.
Next, he looked at the top of the Universe. "Let's see."
He took a step forward and appeared in front of an entrance. He took normal steps, walking through it and noticing a mansion.
He soon arrived outside of it, where he saw a tree and a snake.
When they saw Ye Li, they stopped messing around and focused on him.
Ye Li spoke indifferently. "Zhou Fan will be gone for a period of time. I know that hurting you at all will alert him even within the seal, so just allow me to seal you as well for the time being."
Expecting no meaningful resistance, Ye Li moved his hand in a grasping motion, forming a seal in an instant.
Suddenly, unimaginable pressure descended from the Heavens. In Ye Li's sight, it seemed as though everything in the Universe had disappeared, save for an unimaginably large tree now standing in front of him.
He saw visions of a green power, unfamiliar spaces, and the disregarding of time and space as the tree in front of him gave off a green light.
From the pressure alone, Ye Li was sent flying out of the mansion, spitting blood.
He looked at the mansion in shock, but everything seemed to have disappeared.
Luckily, nobody else had noticed this event. Ye Li did not dare stay any longer, leaving.
He had made one miscalculation. Even with Zhou Fan gone, he was not the strongest being in the Universe. Luckily, it didn't change anything.
As long as the mansion wasn't interfered with, all of his plans could continue.
A million Sage Years passed without anyone noticing anything was wrong. Ye Li planned to keep it that way.
On the exact day marking the end of the millionth Sage Year since Zhou Fan was sealed, power activated around the entire Universe. This was not noticed by a single being, despite everyone's immense strength. There were even a few more Universe Immortals, but that didn't matter.
Eventually, Karma covered the entire Universe, turning it into a cage. Ye Li instantly felt movement. The speed at which he gained Karma was just increased by hundreds of times. After all, the entire Universe was now within his collection range.
But this was not enough. The Universe was too peaceful, and it felt as though it was all being wasted.
So Ye Li controlled fourteen out of the fifteen beings to start a war. With so many powerful Path Creators striking out at once, the entire Universe turned frenzied.
But Ye Li did not start a one sided massacre. Instead, it was a free for all. The fourteen Path Creators did not only attack others, but each other as well.
Some found it suspicious, but as the Universe fell into a new Era, everyone forgot about all of that.
The Origin Era was no more. Instead, a new era had begun. Although many Path Creators had been alive when the beings from the future had come, and had a general idea about the future, things were not set in stone.
The future they had seen was not necessarily the one that would occur. Minor changes would be seen here and there, while major changes would surely exist.
This new era was deemed the Path War Era.
Cultivators were not harmed unless they involved themselves in this war.
Everyone knew that the Path of Cultivation could not be touched, lest the wrath of Zhou Fan appear.
Although he had not participated, nobody suspected he was unable to participate, just that he had chosen to stay neutral.
There were different camps among the Path Creators, but even those in the same camp regularly fought.
Only a few tight alliances did not.
It seemed as though every being in the Universe was filled with the urge to wage war.
Despite all of this, Ye Li sat on an inconspicuous planet, barren and without an atmosphere.
His clone was participating on his behalf, and it alone matched the other Path Creators.
After all, another million Sage Years had passed, and he entered the Domain Immortal realm. He now had an Immortal Domain and possessed the power to wipe out every being in the Universe if he wanted to.
But that was akin to a farmer selling his land. Instead, it was much more profitable to continue letting things grow and produce Karma for him.
Within the seal, Zhou Fan was at the Peak of the Immortal Lord realm. He would break through very soon.
Despite having the capability to do so, he did not. This was partly because he was interested in seeing how things would change when he left, and partly because Leaf, the only being he truly cared about, was able to defend himself. Even if he was injured, Zhou Fan would be able to tell in an instant.
After a few Sage Years passed, Zhou Fan broke through, entering the next realm, the Immortal King realm. In this realm, he comprehended 1000 Rules, 900 being added to the total. If another being wanted to break past the Immortal King realm, they would have to comprehend at least 300 Rules.
Next, Zhou Fan waved his hand, and the Universe began to expand. It reached an unprecedented degree, and within it, multiple barriers appeared. These represented "new Universes".
In total, 9 more "Universes" formed within the Universe, which made up for a total of ten. There was also the space between them.
It was no longer sufficient to call the Universe a Universe.
Zhou Fan began to think of what to name it.
