Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Akina's jaw dropped as she took in the young man standing before them.

"Wait... is this Vien?" she asked Ginny, her voice tinged with amazement.

"Yes, this is Vien," Ginny confirmed, her tone reassuring. "I invited him here because he has the potential to make a significant impact."

Vien stood confidently in a long black leather coat. His dark hair fell loosely behind him, and his round black eyes held a captivating intensity. He had a strong build, and a sword hung at his side. While he appeared to be in his early twenties, looks could be deceiving; he was, in fact, the thousand-year-old guardian of Mahia.

He bowed respectfully to Ginny before settling himself on the root of a nearby tree.

"Vien, I'd like you to meet Akina, the first daughter of Addinka, leader of the Sun Clan," Ginny introduced. "Akina, this is Vien—our esteemed guardian of Mahia."

"Nice to meet you, Akina," Vien said with a courteous nod.

"N-Nice to meet you, Lord Vien," she replied, still processing the moment. Is this really happening? she thought. I'm actually standing in front of Vien—the greatest of all time!

"I brought you both here because," Ginny continued with focus, "Addinka—the leader of the Sun Clan and general of the Mahia army—was recently injured in battle. My research indicates that she was wounded by a Jinka."

Ginny's expression turned serious.

"To save her soul from being trapped in the Sixth Realm, we need someone from her clan. According to the ways of the realms outlined in the Book of Spirits, this must be her own blood relative."

"How can I assist with that?" Vien inquired, showing genuine interest.

"Lord Vien," Ginny explained, "the purpose of your presence here is to train Akina in martial arts. I will support her as she learns the theories of the realms. She is uniquely capable of this task. We have one week to prepare her—so I trust you will guide her to mastery, as you have achieved."

Vien considered Ginny's words thoughtfully. "And why should I help you?" he asked.

"What if this is His Majesty's will?" Ginny responded, firmly but encouragingly.

Vien took a deep breath. "Very well. I will do my best. Training starts tomorrow morning," he agreed, turning to leave into the gathering darkness.

"You can head home and rest now," Ginny directed Akina. "But remember to arrive at the training grounds early tomorrow. You'll start your training with Vien, then come to me for your lessons. Take this time to prepare yourself."

Akina walked away, her mind buzzing with possibilities. She felt a mix of excitement and determination. I just met Vien... she thought. The legendary Vien. And now... I'm going to train with him!

She made her way through the tranquil paths of Mahia, her steps becoming more purposeful, and her heart filled with anticipation for the journey ahead. Her world was on the brink of transformation.
