"What is the situation with Caius now?" Micah asked.
"The situation is not very good, but we can't withdraw and go back because the things we did would be pointless if we returned," Number Ten said with a light, helpless sigh.
Micah's mind was in a slight disarray, and he did not know how to help Caius any further than he currently did.
"Well, at least Vera is doing pretty well," Micah said as he scanned through the letter that Number Ten had just passed on to him after reading. "She is eating, playing around, and sleeping all day long." He sighed. "How nice and carefree." Another sentence caught his eye. "Oh, and it says here that she has gained a little weight, too." He pointed to the sentence on the paper. "She must look chubbier and cuter now."
Number Ten simply hummed lightly, agreeing to the man's words. The little human girl was indeed quite adorable.
